25 guests' feedbackOur stay was wonderful. The atmosphere was peaceful and calm. It was just what we needed.
The unit has had an upgrade done to the lounge (cabinet, TV and artwork), but the kitchen utensils needs to be restocked to support self-catering families. There is a single, small frying pan and horrible pots. The oven could also do with a good clean as well. The double bed could be replaced with a queen. Fumigators need to be called in to get rid of a serious ant problem. Complex rules need to be upheld (no animals) yet there are cats and dogs running around (we could have taken our pets with). I don't understand what the additional cleaning and sanitisation costs are for? (Unit didn't smell sanitised at all). Overall still one of our favourite destinations.
Loved the place going back soon.
Deserves to be recommended to others and repeat visit.
The bedding in the second bedroom should be universal. Not ideal for teenage boys.
Awesome place. Very good location. One problem - after 8 days I still haven't got my key deposit back.
Nothing wrong with Unit D, the only problem is the fact that there are no fans in the place. We went to buy our own otherwise it would have been unbearably hot. We have been staying at Bondi Beach for the past 3 years, but each time in a different unit. The unit has the necessary, but there is nothing special about the place. The previous places were more personal and convenient.
It was a great location and the views are really impressive. The pictures don't do it justice. The unit has everything you need, and the layout is well arranged. The large balcony is a plus and the unit was clean. The rust unfortunately is something that any flat on the beach will have. The complex is well maintained and has all the facilities you need. If you have kids, there is ample for them to do. The carports are wide and give ample protection from storms. The beach is easily accessible and very clean. There are lovely tidal pools and rocks. Overall a great location and we will definitely be visiting again!

The unit is in a great location, great views. A queen-size bed will be appreciated in the main bedroom.
This unit can really use an upgrade especially the kitchen. Fridge way to small for a family of 4. Other units were really more homely and comfy than ours. Furniture is so old and smells sweaty. Nevertheless it served its purpose.

What a nice place! Neat, friendly service, complex itself is very clean, definitely value for money! The children also enjoyed it tremendously at the pool. Would go there again in a heartbeat without a doubt.
Bondi Beach Unit D is perfectly located. The view is breathtaking. The unit is on the beach, so convenient for walking on the beach. The gas grill on the patio is very convenient. It was wonderful to be lulled to sleep by the sea every night. Would stay there again anytime.
We will definitely visit again. The safety measures makes one feel at ease, knowing your vehicle is safe. Thank you that there is also a carport for the vehicles.
We were surprised by the beautiful view of the sea. It was peaceful and the people working there were friendly and pleasant. We rested well. The unit was nice and clean and all the equipment worked on site. We will visit Bondi Beach again.
It's centrally located and tidy.
Unit 45D's furniture is old and gives a feeling of cheap accommodation. Blinds in kitchen are broken and look like fungi forming on them. A health risk. Location good. Secure complex.
Pathetically dirty and many problems in apartment, such as TV and lights not working, ants everywhere, pots dirty full of burnt food, 2nd toilet not working, inventory is incomplete and all crockery not there. Black garbage bags had to be taken out yourself, no cleaning services. Unacceptable.
We really enjoyed our time in Shelly Beach and would definitely recommend Bondi Beach! We as a family with a 14 month old boy thoroughly enjoyed this unit. A gas braai, DStv, tumble dryer and washing machine were definitely a bonus for us. We would like to recommend maybe just a safety gate at the front door (couldn't just leave the door open with the little person), which you can close to give a draft through the apartment when the doors on the balcony are also open, since there are no fans in the unit. The caretaker "Ballie" and his wife are also lovely people - staff on site are also friendly and very nice. Bondi Beach, you will definitely see us again in the future!

Got value for money.
The unit is great, awesome views, spacious and fully equipped with a washing machine, dryer and DStv. It has a large balcony and is right on the beach. The unit has excellent facilities including a games room and pool/braai area (we were lucky enough to have a gas braai on the balcony). I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a great holiday right on a private beach, close to the Shelly Mall with accommodation and service that is excellent.
Nice stay but ruined by the following: No mention was made of the breakage deposit and it was a mission to pay it - repayment 30 days after departure is unacceptable. The inventory takes an hour to check and we discovered various issues, such as inadequate cutlery, stuff that wasn't there, broken ironing board, lights in kitchen out of order, dead bulbs, etc. One toilet roll for two bathrooms, no dishwashing liquid in the kitchen. If you dare write something on the inventory they fine you R50, R350 call out fee and after a while it feels as if a dictator is in control - lists and lists. Don't.

Payment must be made via EFT only.
Full payment is required for last-minute bookings prior to occupation.
