The family table in the kitchen allowed for great meals together. Lovely walks and time on the stoep. Our long weekend was just not long enough.
Apartment was spacious, comfortable, very nice view had everything needed, felt safe. Beautiful place and surroundings and you can definitely stay there peacefully and relax. Would highly recommend it.

What a wonderful place! We keep going back. The most amazing views. The hot tub is always a hit, the houses are well equipped and cozily furnished. We have stayed in Druiwetroos + Perskepit. We always have a great memorable time. Roosterkoek at the padstal is delicious!

Peach pit for Easter weekend! Our family of 4 and Cody the sheepdog really enjoyed the weekend. What a lovely place. Elmarie goes the extra mile to make everything as comfortable as possible. We had a great time on the farm with Viva the donkey and all the sheep. Walked to the waterfall, relaxed in the hot tub and simply enjoyed the silence of the farm incredibly much. The paddock makes the most delicious food and you immediately feel at home when you walk in the door. We will be back for sure. xx.

The hosts were quick to respond to queries. We were able to catch fish and visit the pond. There is an inverter that keeps the WiFi on if there is loadshedding and the plunge pool heats up quickly. Our child enjoyed the sheep that came for a walk on the yard. We will definitely visit the accommodation again!

It was the most delicious 4 days we spent on the farm at Bonfrutti (in Druiwetros)! The kindness and helpfulness of the owners, Riaan and Elmarie, was incredible. Bonfrutti paddock is a surprise to experience. The surroundings are beautiful and quiet with sheep, 4 beautiful donkeys and walking paths. The kitchenware and linen are of excellent quality. It was lovely to just sit on the veranda and admire the view! We definitely enjoyed our break!
What you see on the website is what you get. It is super clean and a great place to stay. I will definitely go again. It's like a home away from home. I would recommend it to anyone.

This stay lets you relax immediately. The view over the dam and the mountains is breathtaking and one can look at it all day. The accommodation has a nice porch, a wood fire splash pool and a bomb barbecue. It was super neat and clean! The hostess was very helpful and made sure everything went smoothly.

The accomodation has everything you need to cater for a small family and Elmarie is a wonderful host who was available to help with anything if we needed it. We spent hours relaxing in the hot tub, took long walks and just enjoyed the breathtaking views and the magical peace and quiet. The kids loved the big lawn, meeting donkeys, feeding lambs and waking up to sheep grazing outside. It was too cold for the dam but it would be good for swimming in the hotter months. We also had a delicious pizza and wine at their nearby farmstall which has a kid's play area. We will definitely visit again!
We stayed in Druiwetros which is directly next to Olive Branch. The unit was very well set up for self catering and we really enjoyed the indoor barbecue, outdoor barbecue and plunge pool which has a wood burning stove! The unit has a lovely veranda overlooking a pond. We had fun walking and cycling on the farm.
We enjoyed every moment of our stay, we were in the hot tub all weekend taking in the surroundings and sounds of chirping birds.
The cottages are set up beautifully. All the comforts and special touches. Lovely meeting the owner, will be back. Loved the hot tub.

The cottage was painfully neat and clean with all amenities at our disposal.
It was one of the best getaways we've had in a long time. The place is a real gem among the beautiful mountains. The scenery is breathtaking. We will definitely visit there again.
Heaven on earth for adults and kids alike! It's even more beautiful than the pix and very spacious. Plenty of bathrooms and toilets which is great for a big group!
We had such a lovely time. Everything we needed was right there. Definitely seeing the Druiwetros house again. Very cosy and the view while sitting in the tub is to die for.
What a lovely break it was. The house was very neat. The lights and candles were especially handy with the load shedding, as well as the gas stove and whistle boiler. Everything we needed was there. From hair dryers to two-pronged plugs. The stoep was the perfect place to relax with the most beautiful view. The only thing that was a little disappointing was the fact that the hot tub's dust was full of ash and we had to clean it first before we could make a fire. The pipes were already quite burnt and therefore the water took much longer to heat than it should have. (It took longer than 4 hours.) I think the visit would have been 10 times more enjoyable if the hot tub had worked properly.
Our unit was perfectly located. View over the dam and mountains. The weather was bad so we wanted to use the inside braai. This braai is totally unusable. Smokes like mad. We also had a neighbour with an aggressive dog that was quite a nuisance. We reported it to the owner and she immediately sorted it out. But this should not have happened in the first place. If you allow pets you should maybe have a fenced area around the pet-friendly unit. Fix this, the braai and the toilet leak and you will truly be a perfect destination.
What a pleasant time we had, sorry we could only stay for three nights. The hostess kept us informed about the load shedding schedule. We thoroughly enjoyed the farm, fishing, hiking, waterfall, the hot tub, and of course just being able to sit quietly on the porch and enjoy the nature in front of you. What an experience. Everything was back to back, terribly beautiful. Decent cutlery and more than enough of everything for a large group of people. We would have stayed in the smaller units, but Elmarie was kind enough to offer us the big house (Oppiwerf) and in the end it was a better option because then we all stayed together. Elmarie communicated everything very well, although the "negative" is that there is no sign on the turn-off road, so one of our guests also got completely lost with loadshedding on the way to us on the Friday evening, but apart from that everything was great! We will definitely visit Oppiwerf again. Thank you!

What a privilege to wake up to just the chirping of birds. We could shut off the hustle and bustle of the city and stop for 2 days. Definitely a highlight for our family.
The hike was very beautiful, but would recommend not taking your dog with you if you wanted to get to the waterfall. Waterfall was unfortunately dry during Jan's visit, maybe in winter a better option if someone wanted to take a look. Also the last part at the mountain should be for more advanced hikers. But it's very beautiful if you want to see nature.
The location is excellent and the owners are very hospitable. We will definitely go again. It is a lovely break in the countryside away from the busy life in the city.

Elmarie and Riaan made us feel so welcome. It's magical and they thought of everything. Fire starters and wood too! Children enjoyed feeding the donkeys, flowers and Vivo too. We didn't want to go home!
My second visit to Perskepit within a month with my family and our dogs. Beautiful setting, clean accommodation and excellent value for money. Intermittent mobile phone signal is a blessing in disguise.
Bonfruitti has accommodation for everyone, 38 guests in total. All 6 of the houses are well thought out and equipped for all seasons. Perskepit is pet friendly. The walks are lovely but we would recommend hiking poles to the waterfall as the path is on a slope and gravel is quite loose in places. A real gem of a venue with gracious hosts and 2 very friendly donkeys. We look forward to returning in the very near future.

Went with a group of friends for a weekend. We stayed in Perskepit and Waenhuis. Owners are very friendly and accommodating and the place was clean on arrival. Exceeded our expectations!
Bonfrutti is the most beautiful and cleanest place in the Western Cape with the most beautiful view. The house has everything and more that one needs. Our 2 granddaughters thoroughly enjoyed themselves in the pool, on the lawn among the sheep and on their daily walks. We will definitely go back again.
Our stay can be summed up in one sentence. The peacefulness and tranquility can't be found at many places.
Welcomed by Elmarie with a big smile, you felt as though this was going to be an experience to ground you immediately upon arrival. Bonfrutti the farmstall is filled with character, and was only a sweet introduction to what was to follow. The accommodation, clean, modern and tastefully decorated. The surroundings, peaceful, away from the hustle and bustle, with limited reception, this was truly a break away from the madness. The small splash pool was perfect for the kids with hours spent on the front porch just being able to sit and take in what the mountain holds. Riaan and Elmarie were the perfect hosts, down to earth.
Very hospitable hosts. Perskepit was very comfortable, spacious and there's plenty to do in the surrounding areas: mountain biking; horse riding; hiking etc. I still need to send the GPS track for our hike up to the top of the mountain. Marloth, just outside Swellendam, provided the best Mountain biking.
We were a family with small kids and enjoyed our stay to the utmost. The kids loved spending time in the pool and talking to the donkey's (especially Blommie)! The house is very neat and everything available that is needed. The fireplace, an absolute kuierplek! We took a brisk walk to the Dam that was an absolute bonus. Being so close to nature made us realise there is so much to be thankful for.

Olyftak was our (my husband, I and our married children with 2 four-legged grandchildren) place to stay for one lovely weekend. What an incredible view that only gets more beautiful as the day progresses. The house was very tidy and well equipped (we especially appreciated the bags of ice!). There are definitely walking routes to choose from and especially the one to the waterfall was worth it over and over again. There are different cycling paths, suitable for the unfit to the top fit daredevils. Elmari and Riaan are very pleasant hosts and made us feel very welcome. We will definitely want to go again if we get the chance!
Our stay at Bonfrutti was Olive Branch. The photos on the website do not come close to the wonderful surprise of such a fantastic view! The unit was fully equipped and so neat and clean. We really enjoyed the boma/braai and splash pool. The staff were extremely professional and helpful. The Farm Stable was a highlight and we were able to find everything we needed! We were very well received, the place was very neat and clean, now it's the ideal place to find rest for your soul. The view over the dam and mountains is just amazing - we could go for a lovely walk and felt very safe. Place is well equipped - just a pity there are no cupboards where you can unpack your clothes - place is nicely furnished.
Beautiful views, everything you need accommodation and close enough to the town for if you need anything. Ideal for children to explore farm life.
