11 guests' feedbackWe really enjoyed our stay. It is right in nature and one experiences the woodland at its best. The house is well equipped and the dishwasher was a big bonus. The beds were very comfortable and the linen of good quality. Would love to stay there again.

Boomhuis is a beautiful place, well furnished. The best was the tranquility, one feels away from the world - exactly what is needed.
Boomhuis @ Mabalingwe is a modern but peaceful and cozy "self-catering" unit in the heart of the bushveld. It's very safe and our time there was just a pleasure. The owners were always available and helpful when needed. The place is spacious, kitchen well equipped and our group of 3 couples stayed very comfortably. Will definitely stay at Boomhuis @ Mabalingwe again.
Very nice. Restful. I recommend to use the swimming pool instead in the summer.
Only the road was a bit too 4x4, suggest you drive with a van. It was absolutely quiet and beautiful with animals coming to visit you. Will definitely stay there again!
We had a great stay, it was clean and tidy. Very quiet time and fun in the woods and just rest for one's soul and to recharge. Just make sure there is coffee and tea to make if you want to enjoy it in the morning.
For the money I paid, the tree house is absolutely pathetic. I struggle with water pressure and hot water. There are no hanging cabinets for clothes, not even something to put the clothes on.
We had a lovely weekend at the Boomhuis! Luxurious finishes, spacious and exceptionally clean accommodation. A fantastic resting place.
The unit is alone in the forest so it is quiet and you can hear the animal sounds. Great relaxation and a break from the city's hustle and bustle. It was a quiet relaxing weekend in the woods. The house is beautifully and comfortably furnished. The braai area and the swimming pool are a plus. Evenings by the fireplace inside the house were lovely. Recommend Boomhuis @ Mabalingwe.
Too secluded, have to drive a 4x4/diff lock high vehicle to get access, not trailer friendly, lots of ants, found mouse droppings between glasses and cups, pool dirty, stood 45 min at big gate for access.
