Our expectations were exceeded - it felt like we were on the farm! The house is excellently equipped, we lacked nothing (even making Christmas pudding was no problem). It is a lovely visiting house and we all enjoyed visiting the animals, and the fresh eggs were a lovely surprise. We come again!
The amenities combined with the views and well-kept animal life around the house give a perfect combination of farm and leisure.
Karen was a wonderful host from the get-go with caring personal messages. The house was beyond expectations and so well-equipped. We could sense lots of love there. And then of course there were the majestic mountain views.
It really is a nice visit and barbecue house. It was also nice and central for us to be able to explore the surrounding villages and Northern Cape. Karen was a great hostess and made sure we felt at home and had everything we needed. The house is well equipped with gas and solar panels to help if there is load shedding.
Beautiful farmhouse that feels like a home away from home. Extremely well-equipped with a peaceful location and stunning views. We unfortunately had no hot water on the night of our arrival due to gas running out, but this was quickly rectified the next morning. Wonderful staff on the property cared for our every need; the daily 'refreshes' and farm-fresh eggs were much appreciated. We would love to return!
Fantastic. The inside braai was perfect for cold winter nights.
The host was welcoming and helpful, and the farm-fresh eggs were a bonus.
