The guesthouse is situated on its own private land, where guests have access to a farm dam on those hot summer days. The house can accommodate up to 8 guests in 4 bedrooms. There are 2 bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen with a scullery, and a lounge and braai room with a dining area. There is also a lovely deck outside, as well as a double garage for parking. 3 of the bedrooms each have a queen-size bed, and the fourth bedroom contains 2 single beds. Each bedroom is equipped with air-conditioning and a hairdryer. The house is equipped with a fridge, an oven and stove, a microwave, free Wi-Fi, and selected DStv channels.
Guests are welcome to go biking and hiking on the farm, as well as in the general area, or enjoy a braai on a balmy summer evening. The historic homestead is also a national monument and is open to visitors by appointment. It is also the home of the Afrikaans poet, Boerneef, and his work can also be enjoyed on the tour. With a pilot in the family, guests can spoil themselves or loved ones with a flight over the area in 1 of the light aircrafts. Flight reservations must be made a month prior to arrival.

We really enjoyed Boplaas. The house was perfect, with everything you needed, and the surroundings with its orchards and ponds made it worth it. Will definitely want to visit Boplaas again.
Beautiful, spacious and modern house on a fruit farm, the view from the house over the farms and ponds is breathtaking! The house has everything you need and even more, secure parking and you don't feel unsafe at all on the farm. There are a few things in and around the house that need a little "TLC" but I believe these will be sorted out in time. Otherwise there are no complaints at all. The "hot tub" was a bonus. I didn't expect it, it works like a dream and during the hot summer days you don't even need to burn wood to heat the water. By late afternoon you can climb in and enjoy the view. Will definitely stay here again and encourage others to do the same.

We really enjoyed our stay and the house has all the amenities you could wish for (there's just no swimming pool). I booked the house as a place to stay for the weekend as we had a wedding nearby, but I would definitely go again to spend some more time here. Quiet, picture perfect rooms and bathrooms, beautiful kitchen with full DSTV etc.
