49 guests' feedbackCottage was well maintained and had all the equipment necessary for a weekend or longer. Very relaxing beautiful surroundings. Dirt road was only off putting part of the trip.
Cosy cottage situated on a safe property with the most beautiful garden. Will definitely stay over again! Great value for money.
Had a lovely quiet weekend. Definitely visiting again in the summertime.
Boscobel was fantastic, we had an amazing stay. Clean and tidy and super nice and very comfortable. Fresh roses in the bedrooms and bathrooms made us feel extra special and at home. Can really recommend it with an open heart.
We travel quite a lot and use the website a lot. Boscobel is one of those places which is a hidden gem, the cottages have everything you need and the lack of a TV in the cottage is a blessing for us who need a break from the outside world. If you do become lonely there is always the Wi-Fi which is easily accessible and free. Margie and her team are very friendly and accommodating. We felt welcome and appreciated. The roads around are a bit rough, but that is to be expected with the timber lorries driving to and from the pine plantations. Just take it slow. All in all, it was a most enjoyable stay and I will recommend it to anyone who needs a good rest and recharge. the garden is lovely and the area is well-maintained and neat. Thanks, Margie!
Staff were super friendly and helpful. I felt safe and there's a great outdoor area to sit and relax. Had a great time, felt safe and secure. The cottage was spotless and perfect for our needs.
The owners and staff were very accommodating and took great care of us. The cottage shows great attention to detail and privacy. This hidden gem offers more than you expect and is located near to some of the surrounding attractions. We will happily go back to Boscobel!
What a wonderful find! We absolutely loved our stay in these beautiful cottages. Margie's attention to detail is unbelievable ensuring that you have everything to make your stay unforgettable! Wonderful place.
Thanks for the good service.
Boscobel is a real gem. Our visit was heavenly!
The surroundings are very beautiful, the cottages are neat, clean and cosy.
Excellent and beautiful gardens.
Enjoyed a wonderful stay, very quiet and peaceful, chalet serviced every day. Staff very helpful and friendly!
Beautiful and safe surrounding. Gardens an absolute joy! The cottage had everything we needed and Margie and Annie went out of their way to make our stay a memorable one. Thank you Margie, we will be back.
Units are very well equipped with everything needed - and products are replaced every day (milk, water, coffee, biscuits, wood). Best place to switch off and explore the area throughout every season of the year. Ample space and play area for the children too.
Perhaps make extra wood available for purchase.
Units with very good quality linen and equipment equipped. Everything very comfortable and impeccably clean. Gardening is a pleasure.
Safe, tidy and incredibly hospitable. Unfortunately not very accessible when it rains, dirt road around destination.
Beautiful garden and nature, friendly service and the people can't do enough for you. Road not recommended if you don't have a 4 X 4. Ideal base if you want to stay there and explore the area. Just check first if the places you want to visit are open. We came in front of closed gates because Covid19.
It was a privilege to be the first guest in the Crown cottage since Corona virus lockdown started. Margie and Annie went out of their way to help meet my specific needs. Thank you very much for the neat and well-appointed facilities!
Completely exceeded our expectations. Was a very pleasant experience. Will definitely go back.
The well-kept cottage with all the necessary amenities and the tranquillity of the beautiful garden and surroundings create the ideal backdrop for wonderful relaxation. Margie's planning and good management are visible everywhere in the fine details. The way in which she makes one feel at home and have your interests at heart is certainly noteworthy. For the tourist, as well as the business traveller who wants to get away from the hustle and bustle, Boscobel is the ideal choice. For the bird watcher, Boscobel is also an excellent base from which to explore a number of different habitats in the immediate vicinity, and Margie's recommendations were of great value to us. We will definitely come here again.
I can recommend them to anyone. Everything is luxurious, neat and the rusks are great!
The houses were very neat and nicely equipped. As a large group, the lodge was also at our disposal and we had a great time there in the evenings.
It was a good experience.
Cozy cute cottage hidden in the plantation. Despite the cold and frost through the night, we were warm and cared for. More than enough warm blankets, heaters and at the top of the list: fireplace with wood provided. We had everything we could need: fresh milk, fresh filtered water, home baked biscuits, welcome chocolates on the bed - felt like VIP! We were personally welcomed by the owner and she was more than willing to help with any requests. Truly a winter wonderland. Will return any time for hide away from the city. Very very pleasant place!
Fairy tale location with everything and more in the most beautiful garden. Best rusk I've tasted in a long time! Would confidently recommend Boscobel to anyone.
A beautiful garden with a very tranquil atmosphere where you can have a good time. The accommodation has everything that you will need.
Unforgettable weekend, just what we needed. Beautiful cottages, very tasteful and great attention to detail. A definite play to visit.
It was heavenly. The residence has an English nostalgia. Nice treats on arrival. Can really recommend it.
What a great place, everything is there and more! The fireplace in the evening was a treat as well as the delicious biscuits and every day's fresh milk! Amazing place!
This is the perfect place for a break from the city noise. The cottages are well equipped and Margie and Annie make sure that you experience the farm hospitality with home-baked biscuits and fresh milk.
Annie met us when we arrived at Boscobel and quickly and clearly explained everything we needed to know. Soon after, a very friendly Margie the owner arrived. The homemade rusks and "shortbread" and bottle of sherry were a bonus and the extra touches made us feel at home. The cottage was tastefully furnished and there was nothing we could fault. The lights went out due to a municipal fault, but it was soon repaired by a generator being switched on. The gardens were beautiful and the soft, misty rain made it feel just like the Midlands - delightfully cool.
What a lovely surprise. Thank you for the care with which you make the facilities available.
Good service, value for money and friendly people.
Wonderful setting. Really special hostess, Margie. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The kitchen could have been a touch bigger but otherwise the rest of the accommodation was faultless.
Thank you very much for a lovely weekend stay at Boscobel. Clean and tidy, lovely fireplace with enough wood. Beautiful setting! Very friendly reception, we will definitely visit again!
An excellent escape from the city in a clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated stone cottage. I would recommend it to couples or small families any time.
We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend. The units are tastefully decorated and fully equipped. Staff is friendly and helpful. Will visit Boscobel again.
What a lovely stay. Friendly people. The garden is a peaceful, lovely place to be.
Very pretty venue and very quiet and secluded.
I will only rent it to one group at a time, were not able to use the TV and kitchen all the time because of other guests. The cottage kitchen is extremely small to cook a meal. The cottage was beautiful inside and outside. The personal touches gets 6 stars.
Everything truly was of exceptional quality! We'll definitely be back!
These little houses are so beautifully furnished, very clean, neat and have everything you could possibly need. Wonderful indoor fireplace that we enjoyed during the evening, everything just perfect. If you want to break away from everything and everyone, this is the place for you.
Everything one needs and more. Friendly service. Super neat and so beautiful! One can see that a lot of thought and love went into the cabins. The garden is incredible! Would definitely recommend this.
Beautiful place and peaceful, great service! We lit the fire with wood provided, lovely. Rusks and coffee with milk were also provided which made it even better. Staff are helpful and friendly. Hall with pool table was so nice for the kids, as well as the main lodge.
The directions to Boscobel were very accurate. The units were well equipped and cosy. We really appreciated the home-made rusks, freshly-ground coffee, amazing rusks and luxurious linen. Enough wood for the fireplaces, was replenished daily. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed the beautiful gardens and area.
Well equipped, safe and very tidy. Gardens very nice. Will also be wonderfully peaceful in winter with the fireplace and cozy bedding.
