What an amazing stay. Perfect place to unwind with the family. Kitchen is small but can be worked around with everything you need provided. Will definitely be visiting again.
We really enjoyed Bosplasie. Many thanks to Helet for all the necessary information and kindness. Tannie made us feel very welcome and no effort was spared to help us. She is a genuine gem. We children are real city folk and for them the animals were a festival. They couldn't get up early enough to see what animals were waiting for us outside. The silence and tranquility was wonderful. We will definitely recommend Bosplasie and will definitely stay there again in the future. It is central to the shops and also to the Kruger Park. And should you not go to Kruger Park, there is more than enough to see right where you are staying and especially along the river where you are also at Kruger. Thank you very much Bosplasie that we could rest with you and to the animals that came to visit us every day. It just made our visit even more special. We said goodbye yesterday with heavy hearts.
It was great, my 2 daughters really enjoyed it.
The house is affordable and we slept great. The boma is a big plus if you like late nights around the fire. The bathroom and kitchenette are indeed small, but if everyone has a good understanding of who is going to work in the kitchen or use the bathroom when, it is not a problem. Just remember to bring dish soap, extra black bags, drinking water and mosquito repellent (the little shop in Marlothpark is a bit expensive), although "pellets" for the goats and blue wildebeest can be bought there, as well as bird seed. Keep the doors closed for naughty monkeys, because once they get their hands on eggs they will throw the eggs at you!

Quiet atmosphere with all the animals that come to visit.
The stay was as advertised. Clean and tidy, kitchen well equipped, and everything in working order. The owners made an effort to have the wildlife come to the cottage.
There were a few things.
There is everything one needs and more. You literally bring your clothes and relax! Thank you Bosplasie, you gave us a very warm welcome.

Great time with our children and friends. Animals are very tame and once they notice that food is being distributed, they come and make a visit every morning early and late in the afternoon.
What a wonderful destination for a holiday. Everything you could need and more. Only a few min drives from crocodile bridge gate. The animals came to visit, from mongoose to kudu and wildebeest, bushbabies and bushbuck. Lovely restaurants in the area too for when you want a night off.
The equipment is old and among the very cheapest. The owner might think about upgrading it, eg the barbecue and crockery.
Wild on the doorstep an experience. Great braai area.
We were supposed to be 4 adults and three children, but only my wife and I ended up going and everything was fine for us, but I think if we were more people the one bathroom might have been in too much demand and the porch a little small, as it rained a lot. It's not a "deal breaker", but might have gotten a little difficult.
Pool dirty not cleaned. Shower head broken, neighbors lent us a new shower head. Clean towels were promised which were not exchanged. No work surface in kitchen.
Place was being renovated on the outside. Inside small, a bit outdated but cozy, perfect for a quick break away for a couple. The bush babies visits were a highlight, the boma area is well designed and lovely and we had many nights of fires and braais. Thank you very much Leresia.
The house was neat, comfortable and safe. The location is fantastic and an afternoon stroll to the river was comfortable. We had four-legged visitors every day. Thank you Helet and Aunt Liresia for your wonderful hospitality. Will definitely visit again.
It was really amazing, all the animals that came to visit us and that we could feed and look at, even if they were licks.
I wish to to thank Helet for sharing her beautiful piece of heaven on earth with us. And thank you to Liresia for the meet and greet, the kids really enjoyed themselves. They loved the pool and the animals, we loved them.
The house is neat and located near the river which is perfect for an afternoon walk.
We were 5 guests and stayed comfortably in Bosplasie, everything we needed was there. The experience was fantastic. Had an influx of four-legged visitors every day, leaving us amazed. Would definitely recommend Bosplasie to those who want to get away and are looking for something different than just the usual.
The drive home was pretty clean, we did run out of gas the second night where we had to shower the children with cold water. Better precautions should have been taken. The stairs also need some maintenance, feel a bit unstable.
