Bottero’s Camp is a self-catering stone cottage located in Sandfields and Forests Private Wildlife Reserve. Sandfields offers an intimate and rejuvenating bush experience with facilities for small and larger groups seeking wildlife and outdoor getaways, as well as retreats.

This cottage can accommodate 4 guests in 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The first bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed and has an en-suite bathroom that is fitted with a bath, shower, washbasin and toilet. The second bedroom is furnished with 2 single beds and has an en-suite bathroom that is fitted with a shower, washbasin and toilet. Linen and towels are provided.

The open-plan living area features a kitchen and a living room. The kitchen is equipped with a gas fridge, gas stove, oven, cutlery and crockery, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. The living room is furnished with comfortable seating and a fireplace. The unit has a large covered patio that is furnished with a dining table and comfortable couches. Access to free Wi-Fi is available. Guests have access to braai facilities and a plunge pool.

Self-drive game drives are available by arrangement. The reserve, spanning 2428 hectares near South Africa's Nyl floodplain, allows self-drive game drives upon arrangement. It is an internationally recognized Ramsar and World Heritage site with diverse birdlife around 361 species and a variety of wildlife, including impala, tsessebe, roan, eland, red hartebeest, southern common reedbuck, nyala, zebra, giraffe, and predators like leopard, brown hyena, caracal, serval, and jackal.
