The Boulders 303 just wasn't very clean when we got there. I washed all the cutlery again. There was a burnt pot which I sanded clean. I brought my own dish soap and dish towels. Remind future customers of that too. Cupboards were a bit dusty. We moved one bed to get to the wall plug and it was very dusty. I had the cleaner wash it the next day. Fan in one room was out of order. One wall plug in master bedroom out of order. Shower blocked in master bedroom. And of course there were cockroaches, but I believe that's a problem. Outside door handle broken. Other than that, a great time. Beautiful view. Good Wi-Fi.
Place is neat with nice view. A couple of items bothered, namely the TV didn't work, which causes great frustration if you haven't provided for it. Some sinks do not have plugs. Couldn't get the front door open the next day after we got there and had to get people to come help. The toilets in the bathroom are very narrow, and if a person is tall, he/she will have difficulty using them. The oven's information is so dim that it's hard to see where to put it and the degrees for heat. The management must disclose information about power outages if they are aware of them, so that vacationers are aware of them for their planning.
It was lovely and very peaceful. The only downside was the hours of load shedding extended to 4 hours at a time. Those hours were all lost, so for the weekend over 12 hours lost on load shedding.
The view is incredible and perfectly located. The only downside for us was that the accommodation was very dirty and full of dust. We had to wash everything we used before using it in the kitchen. There were no cleaning materials, so take your dishwashing tablets as well as kitchen towels. The bedding was also quite dirty. We went and bought new linen to sleep on as it had stains and smelled very bad. The fan in the second room does not work, and the plugs behind the bed in the main room also don't work. The main shower is blocked, water does not drain out fast enough which causes it to overflow. It's better to use the second bathroom.
Not good, no electricity, no kitchen cloths, no TV that works, toilets are very cramped, a person weighing more than 70 or a tall person will not fit into the toilet.

It is very neat and well equipped. Claudia is very friendly. It was very nice to spend time there.
The negative points are the toilet space which is from shoulder to shoulder, very small. There are cockroaches. Sealed space in corner between cupboard and floor in kitchen with paper to stop the big ones. There are also quite a few smaller cockroaches that get through the door and the sinks. There were never any dishes, food or crumbs throughout the night and after dinner swept the floor again and put the trash outside, but that didn't stop the cook rats from coming in anyway.

The place needs maintenance.
Apartment is neat, clean and spacious. Everything you need was there. Sea view was fantastic. Had a great stay. Definitely recommended.

Our visit was very nice. Place is located in a good area close to many beach spots.
The maintenance that can be done is plumbing (basin plugs never worked and sink was leaking as well as the first toilet) and household contents can be provided (candles, extra blankets and so forth). Called the owner prior to book in date and asked if there was water due to the floods and was told there was, upon arrival we were told there was no water, lifts never worked. Other than these minor hick-ups the stay was lovely.
The location is lovely. The couches outside on the veranda were not in the best condition, the cutlery and crockery were dirty. The main door battled to lock and unlock. Besides these few snags, the apartment is a nice size and has everything you could need.
The place needs an awful lot of maintenance. Everything is rusted (up to the detached fan), the one window falls out when you open it, the doors are difficult to open and close to the balcony (at the room's exit all the tiles are broken), the sink in the guest bathroom leaks , the wash basin does not have a plug, the curtains are dirty, the single bed hangs at an angle and the double bedroom's ceiling fan remote does not work, there are a few pieces of construction debris in the corner of the balcony, the mats on the balcony are creepy dirty and the washing line falling apart, the oven's different settings are invisible and all the cutlery as well as bowls and pans were dirty. So yes, if you do a little more maintenance this place has a lot of potential.
