7 guests' feedbackThe travel was very far, hopefully we can find an easier way to get to Margate. If we could get an airport shuttle it could be easier.
Apartment is tidy and in a very secure complex. View of the sea from the veranda. Walking distance to beach, Wimpy and other restaurants and shops. Only problem for us was the aircon box on the porch that kept leaking water.
Neat, location close to everything you need, mostly quiet and peaceful. Definitely a good choice!
Apartment is clean and tidy with everything you need. All that is bad is the fact that you have to bring your own DStv smart card, if you still have people at home who want to watch DStv you have to rent a decoder with a card to be able to watch any channel on TV.
Just wanted to say thank you for the hospitality and help offered. Although we arrived late we were still able to get the keys available at Margate Hotel. Just a few things that I think could be improved: 1. The password number that was sent to us via email was wrong and the correct password was on the key tag. 2. The sofa bed mattress for the kids to sleep on was done and they just slept on the sofa cushions. 3. The water pressure of hot water and cold water was very low and took about half an hour to tap into bath water. 4. The cabinet next to the TV cabinet sounded like there was water pressure or leaking all the time and the cabinet was closed to investigate. But in general it was very nice and I will come and have your holiday again anytime and recommend it to my friends.

Breakage Deposit
A refundable breakage deposit of R1000 is payable directly to the property.Check-in/check-out details
House rules
- Please note that the R600 admin fee is included in the quote.- The refundable breakage deposit fee is payable 2 weeks before arrival and is not included in the rate.
- The reservation agreement that will be sent to the client after the deposit was paid must be filled in and sent back before arrival. No keys will be released without the necessary documentation returned to the host.
- The breakage deposit will be refunded within 14 working days after departure, less any deductions for breakages.
- Should the property be damaged either wilfully or not, by negligence or not, by yourself or any other, you agree to pay for the said damages if it exceeds the amount held via the breakage deposit.
- Should you arrive at the property and find that there are damages, the onus is upon you to inform the host immediately.
- The breakage deposit will be held in trust and released to the bank account nominated by yourself.
- Please remember to email the host your account details.
- Please ensure that the outstanding balance reflects in the host's bank account 7 days prior to arrival.
- Please do not exceed the maximum number of people allowed in the unit. Failure to comply with this request will result in eviction with no refund and no notice period.
- No smoking is allowed inside any of the units, flats or houses. Should you smoke in the house you will lose your breakage deposit in full.
- If a cleaning service is needed it can be arranged prior to arrival, at an additional cost.
- Cleaning services are not available on Sundays and public holidays.
- We cannot be held liable for any losses or inconvenience to tenants caused by an act beyond our control. In the event of any appliance being out of order we cannot be held liable for the replacement thereof.

- Towels for swimming and bathing.
- DStv decoder with the remote and card.
