7 guests' feedbackOur check-in date was on Saturday and we had to collect the key from Margate Hotel. There was no information provided about where to enter or any door codes to use. The place smelled musty because the geyser was leaking in the closet and the drains didn't smell good. The linen had stains on it that were on the bed in the master bedroom. The curtain in the master bedroom has a bent frame and the rollers are stuck and some are broken. The one black chair on the porch was broken and the two windows on the porch were cracked, and the window in the master bedroom's bathroom was broken, glass and window latch. We didn't know how to use the pool facilities at all so we didn't use them. We didn't know what the second remote was for. The door card was changed in the middle of the week and we had to wait half an hour before one of the people opened the door for us. The TV holder is loose and it falls to one side. The gas grill was not used, the grill had safety material on it.
Great place to be at.
The apartment is positioned perfectly with an amazing sea view. It's within walking distance to a few restaurants and a Shoprite. It's close to the Hibiscus Shopping Centre and Netcare Hospital. It was well stocked with cutlery, crockery, etc. The only problem we had was the cistern took a really long time to fill up in both toilets after flushing and only one half of the gas braai worked. The other half might have been blocked by not being cleaned properly. The main DB tripped on New Year's Eve and because of lockdown they couldn't dispatch a caretaker immediately but it was quickly resolved in the morning. Overall we enjoyed our stay. The rooms we comfortable and clean. Unfortunately Cyril imposed lockdown level 3 so we couldn't visit the beach but the surrounding sights are really great. Great value for money and we would definitely come back provided these small issues are attended to.

Had a great time and no one bothered. Was able to rest and enjoy time with the children and grandchildren.

Boulevard was a well-situated, comfortable apartment with impressive security. Unfortunately I did have trouble getting clarity on where to fetch the keys, which was rather distressing. The description of the apartment on the website is not updated.

House rules
- Please note that the R600 admin fee is included in the quote.- The refundable breakage deposit fee is payable 2 weeks before arrival and is not included in the rate.
- The reservation agreement that will be sent to the client after the deposit was paid must be filled in and sent back before arrival. No keys will be released without the necessary documentation returned to the host.
- The breakage deposit will be refunded within 14 working days after departure, less any deductions for breakages.
- Should the property be damaged either wilfully or not, by negligence or not, by yourself or any other, you agree to pay for the said damages if it exceeds the amount held via the breakage deposit.
- Should you arrive at the property and find that there are damages, the onus is upon you to inform the host immediately.
- The breakage deposit will be held in trust and released to the bank account nominated by yourself.
- Please remember to email the host your account details.
- Please ensure that the outstanding balance reflects in the host's bank account 7 days prior to arrival.
- Please do not exceed the maximum number of people allowed in the unit. Failure to comply with this request will result in eviction with no refund and no notice period.
- No smoking is allowed inside any of the units, flats or houses. Should you smoke in the house you will lose your breakage deposit in full.
