11 guests' feedbackNeeded a good night's rest between Cape Town and Bloemfontein, if you like farm life, then you are going to the right place. I even struggled to keep my 3 small dogs in the house, they loved the freedom. Wish I had more days to stay there.
The guest house is very spacious, and there was a nice treat in the room.
Really enjoyed the working farm effect for the kids.

We really enjoyed our visit at Brandkraal Guest House for the hospitality, tranquility and beautiful scenery. The house is also nice and spacious which helps a lot for young children.
The house is lovely and had far more amenities than expected. For a working farm, the place was clean and was a great venue for an overnight stay.
Yard of the house is full of broken implements. Everywhere wood, poles and wire etc. are lying around.
Would just like to see that the house will be dust free on the inside.
I will stay there every time I stay overnight in Murraysburg.
Thanks to owner who waited late at night to unlock. Website could be updated to indicate correct distance, but otherwise everything was fine. Just a bit expensive for just a late night sleepover and early departure again.
Was a lovely overnight stay on a traditional Karoo farm. Made me long back to my days as a teenager and gave my children the opportunity to experience a bit of farm life. Maryn is really very friendly and made you feel right at home. The accommodation is spacious, very neat and comfortable. I would stay here again anytime.
