The toilet was leaking and gave a very bad smell. I reported the leak the first day of our stay, guess what, no one came to fix or even check. Second day when maintenance person came he closed the toilet tap and asked us to use the one toilet. But the smell was still there.
Daar is 'n verskriklike visreuk in die plek, ons het dit gerapporteer by die ontvangs, maar Breakers het gesê hulle sal dit aan die derde party sê en dat hulle Saterdagoggend sal kom kyk, maar dit was nie gedoen nie. So ek was nie heeltemal tevrede nie. Dankie.
Great resort definitely very family oriented! Our room was lovely, stunning kitchen with all the appliances! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking at a family holiday.
Great views over the lawns and palm trees and close proximity for a walk in the forest, along the promenade and the beach. Staff at the resort were friendly, food was good and facilities plentiful. Enjoyed a great family vacation in Umhlanga. Awesome restaurants and holiday atmosphere.
Noise at night until 12 o'clock from certain apartments and workers making noise in the corridors.
The place needs attention. The couch and 2 chairs in the living room are worn out, uncomfortable and not enough for 5. The ladles and egg spatula are awful. It's already in use. The single bed in the 2nd room is made up. Very very uncomfortable, the bed actually hurts. Furthermore, it is a nice unit for a holiday with kids. Would recommend it if there is some updating in the unit. Because it was a bit pricey for what we got.
We would definitely recommend unit 217 at Breakers. We and the children really enjoyed it! It's neat, modern and the resort has a lot to do for the children.

In order to maintain the current high standards of the resort, the resort undergoes general maintenance and renovations in the months of September to November during office hours Monday to Friday. In this regard, guests may experience some disturbance and we apologise for any inconvenience that may be caused as a result of this maintenance.Included is a daily service, except on Public Holidays, Sundays.
Guests have access to all the resort facilities.
Linen provided, but please bring along your own swimming towels or you can rent from reception at R 4 per towel.
