Wow, the place was beautiful, clean and just nice to stay there.
We had a great time although we initially struggled with access to the premises. Had to fill out papers that were not provided. Was emailed but had no signal. Luckily was able to resolve it quickly. Grateful for the good security. It was a really pleasant stay and slept well on a very comfortable bed.
We stayed in a double room which is in a section adjoining the main house but has no sea view. Each outer room has a name, but no indication of where it is. At first a search at every locked door, we found the room which is at the back of the complex. Apparently according to other guests this is what happens there all the time, no one knows where. Maybe put up nameplates. It's a fairly narrow passage to the rooms at the back, where in front of your room you have a braai and cement benches. The parking is also a problem, as the main house has three apartments inside the house. Strange setup if everyone is strangers and e.g. are not friends or family! There is not good parking for everyone. If there are children playing or people talking loudly, you can hear everything in the outer rooms. Will not go there again.
When we arrived, a form was required which I did not receive. I had to phone to find out about it and was referred to another house to collect the form, complete it, and hand it to security. The form was sent to the incorrect email address, which was advised to be received from the property. It took about 30 minutes to be able to enter the property. Upon arrival, the braai was not cleaned and there were cigarette butts in a pot which were not cleaned out. They were not even cleaned the next day or the day thereafter. Two large plates were removed from the cupboard, which still had food stains on them. Very disgusting.
We had a good night there. Everything was clean and tidy. A little while after we got there, a baboon came to welcome us. The door was locked. Was warned. Will definitely book there again.
Breakwaters Haven was a beautiful unit, beautiful view and peaceful environment.
Baie mooi uitsig. Mens voel somer rustig met die see-uitsig. Daar kan net gekyk word na die parkering in die erf. Maar dis definitief 'n kuier werd! Daar is alles wat 'n mens nodig het en alles was baie mooi.
The place had everything we needed. The TV with Netflix and Youtube that is in the room was perfect for when you just want to lie down and watch your favorite TV shows. There are also braai facilities that enable you to throw a little meat on the coals while you hear the sea. It's also safe (the guards were friendly and helpful) and definitely has a beautiful view.

Place is gorgeous, form the security to the house keeper everyone is friendly.
The unit is very well furnished and very comfortable. Would definitely recommend it.
The fact that three units are located on one site can be a bit disturbing (of course it depends on the other guests).
Nice golf course to play. Nice restaurants. People of Knysna are kind, the area is nice to travel.
Unit very comfortable and good for a weekend getaway. The unit requires a little maintenance which will then make the unit top class.
Spectacular place and good value. Annoying shower with water running out, broken lid on kitchen bin etc.
It was nice to stay there. It's nice and small and cozy. Just a pity Eskom left us without power for 7 hours in the evening and we can't sleep from the heat because the power went off from 22:00 until 6 the next morning. The place is not set up for load shedding at all. That's all that put us off the place.
