The hosts consistently maintain such a high standard and ensure the cottage feels incredibly homely, while still evoking that magical holiday atmosphere. Bredon Cottage transcends being merely a base for a holiday or just a place to eat and sleep while exploring the rest of Hogsback; it is a holiday destination in itself, with every need catered to. The cottage sits right on the edge of a nature reserve, offering endless views down the valley, which meant we started and ended each day outside, surrounded by nature and soaking in the breathtaking views. The beauty doesn't just fade at night, as we got to see the Milky Way and stars with our naked eyes! And when we felt like being a little more active, we would take a leisurely stroll along the paths and trails among the gardens, natural landscape, and seasonal pool on the property. It's certain that we'll return, as Bredon Cottage never fails to impress us with its charm. We can't wait for next time!

Wonderful stay in old stone cottage, spectacular vistas and well appointed in lush gardens with lots of birdlife.
I would have liked to stay a bit longer and explore the amazing garden. Definitely need to go back you need two to three days. Hosts looked after us very well.
Even the most punctilious travelers will be delighted with this place. It is truly incredible. Clean, well equipped, full of luxuries, beautiful views from the veranda. Unique and refreshing swimming pool in the forest near the cottage. Decent wine waiting on arrival and fresh flowers specially placed all over the cottage. Sandy is very helpful and provides everything one's heart could desire, for an unforgettable getaway. One would look far and wide for a better and lovelier place than this. Worth every penny!
We had a great time. We will definitely be back. They spoiled us so much with wine and wood for the fireplaces. The gass oven is a bit glitchy, takes forever to cook food. But I know the owners will do something about it. Very friendly folks.
