The accommodation comprises 2 separate self-catering units sleeping up to 4 in the cottage and 2 in the flat. The Cottage and Flat are directly next door to one another and can be booked separately or as one unit. Both units have Wi-Fi and solar power.
Please note that the accommodation is non-smoking but ashtrays are provided for guests who are more than welcome to smoke on their private patio area which also offer tables and chairs as well as a designated braai area for guest use. Allocated off-road parking for guests is situated directly at the cottage and the flat.
The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen with a microwave oven, gas hob and air fryer oven. There is a fridge with a small freezer compartment.
The flat has a kitchenette.
The self-catering accommodation is near to small secluded beaches as well as a 5km stretch of beach perfect for long walks to Buffalo Bay. There are 2 restaurants, within walking or close driving distance, from the establishment.
Bushbuck and wonderful birdlife are often spotted in the gardens and surroundings. During the months from June to November, the Southern Right Whales visit our coastline and Dolphins can often be spotted from Fisherman's Walk, a scenic walk along the Brenton Cliffs, just some 100 m away from us. Take time to sit on one of the many benches along this walk.

Brenton Cottage is located in a quiet street, sheltered from the wind and offers all the facilities for a quiet time of relaxation! One falls asleep at night on a comfortable bed with the rhythmic sound of the sea, a good recipe for a good holiday. The house is well equipped and the staff friendly and helpful. Our stay was just too short, but we slept well, except for an outside light that went on and off all the time, as the door has glass at the top, so the light shone in. They could probably look at that.

We visited the Knysna area for five days and stayed in Brenton Cottage. Your visit begins with a friendly welcome by hostess Linda who makes you feel right at home. The cottage is very clean and also well equipped, complete with microwave oven, gas oven and a TV with a nice big screen. We slept in the master bedroom. The bed is very comfortable, one of those in which you sleep well the first night. The braai facility is a relatively small stand-alone braai that you can use outside. For a barbecue enthusiast it will be on the small side. The cottage is conveniently close to the lookout footpath 90 meters above the sea with beautiful views of the sea and coastline. You can go down to the sea with a steep path with steps. Of course, you have to climb back up the same steps again! The long beach to Buffelsbaai starts at the Blu restaurant, also within walking distance of the cottage, for some far enough that they would rather drive.
Cute cottages with all the mod cons, located in a quiet village with more than enough entertainment within walking distance. Lovely.
Clean and tidy. Nature and hospitality very good, but it doesn't make up for the fact that you can't get in and out of the bath or close the door when you use the toilet. Space definitely too small and very inconvenient and annoying to use the bathroom.
