Only 1 complaint. We slept in the river front chalet with balcony, but such a fantastic room should definitely have a king size double bed and definitely not 2 single beds next to each other! They should change that for sure, the rest is fantastic!
Buhala is on the banks of the Crocodile River and the engagement with wildlife of the Kruger as a result of this is just amazing. The lodge is neat, modern and our room was massive and very private. Prices for food and drink are South African and not inflated - very reasonable. One or 2 things that can perhaps be addressed: the table lighting at dinner was weak - we could hardly see what we were eating; we skipped on dessert as it was taking too long and it was getting cold outside; breakfast was excellent, though they forgot to bring my husband’s white bread. We also missed a bar fridge in the room. Our washed car in the morning was a pleasant surprise, thank you. Overall - a great treat and if I could ever afford it again I will go back.
We had a pleasant experience, fantastic location and excellent food.
Wonderful atmosphere, with the best service. Perfect place to unwind.
