Fantastic value for money. Will definitely use the guest house every time. The most beautiful garden.
It is a neat and clean guest house, however it is a bit frayed at the edges. Not all the lights worked in my room, the light fitting at the ceiling was loose, no shower rack to place your soap, shampoo, etc, difficult to put water in the kettle, one curtain fitting at the end hung loose, and the garden should need more attention. Kitchen could be cleaned more efficiently after serving breakfast as well as clearing the tables.
Guests were very noisy till early hours of the morning. Did not get breakfast although it was requested when asked for quote. Staff were not helpful.

The facilities are neat enough for the price. The bedside lamp switch and the bathroom mirror were broken. The receptionists are not disabled, but they have no customer etiquette. They mumble when they talk to you, are not really friendly, and are not professional at all. The area through which one has to drive is unclean. The guest house itself is neat. The price is right.
The service was great and the reception friendly. I would use this guest house again for accommodation anytime. Rooms neat and equipped with everything needed.

We were kindly received by our hostess late at night. Rooms were clean and well appointed. Unfortunately we did not have hot water in both our rooms in the morning or evening and the water in the taps as well as the kettle was brackish and therefore we could not make use of the complimentary coffee in the rooms. If the 2 problems are solved I would recommend Burgersfort Guesthouse to other travellers.
