18 guests' feedbackVery good but remember, a large number of people make noise and it's not nice for security to keep coming due to complaints. In the future, if there are a large number of people, give them a place where there are no neighbours that will complain. Otherwise, the place is brilliant. We really had fun. Thank you.
It's a nice lodge and very clean. I would recommend it to other people who want to book it.

Amazing place to stay, the elephants come close to the house and amazing views.
Please make just make sure there are no rodents in the roof before people check in. All beds were full of grass and rodent droppings that fell from thatch.
The unit needs serious attention! Curtains very old and worn. The air conditioners need a service, they are freezing and the filters are incredibly dirty. Camp chairs can be replaced but only 1 of the 4 chairs was reliable to sit on, and the unit accommodates 6 guests. The entire unit could do with a deep clean. The lounge set's cushions are badly worn and do not sit comfortably at all. The fridge was off when we got there. With the elephants that came to visit in the evening it was a great experience.
What a filthy run down place. Dirty showers, dangerous electrical connections, leaking roof.
Crisp, clean white linen, and the nicest softest towels. Lovely place in the woods with animals that come to visit on the front porch. Will stay there again for sure. The unit has everything you need. Absolute salve for the soul. Note: The cushions of the 2 sofas and chairs in the lounge set can be replaced. It's already put out.

A lovely chalet in a fantastic nature reserve with an abundant bird life.
Our stay at Bush Dream exceeded our expectations! It was magical to be close to nature (in fact in nature), comfortable, private and safe. From the exquisite views of the bush and mountains (spectacular sunrise and sunset views) to many visits of various birds and animal species, it represents the ideal breakaway - will recommend to anyone and will most definitely be back!
Everything you need for a comfortable getaway. Television in the bedroom needs updating. Will definitely return to Bush Dream.
Probably one of the worst experiences we have had so far at Mabalingwe. Fridge not working, cupboard doors are loose, drawers are broken, kitchen worktop is completely broken and pulling away from the wall, roof leaks, boma area is dirty and not looked at at all, looks terrible. Shower heads are dirty and don't work well, not once did we come to take away our rubbish as we requested, service is terrible, kitchen cabinets themselves are rotting away, no cover on porch or coolness, power goes out all the time (2 days without power). Overall terrible!
The accommodation was good and the bed very comfortable. It's rare that you sleep well when you sleep in, but the main bedroom's bed is excellent (upper room). There were a few taps that leaked and needed new skins - water saving is demanded everywhere, but it is not possible with the taps that leak like that.

House rules
Housekeeping is available on request at an additional cost per service.Any breakages or damages due to negligence by the guests exceeding the breakage deposit will be for the guest's account.
Breakage deposits will be refunded 5-7 days after check-out. It is the guest’s responsibility to provide us with banking details for the refund.
Parties, as well as loud noise and disturbances after 22:00, are not allowed. During the day, music is allowed for your ears only.
Guests are welcome to visit and make use of the resort’s facilities at their own cost.
A game drive vehicle is available on request with prior arrangement, and is at an additional cost per day.
Rubbish to be kept in the lodge or bins provided, and rubbish will be removed when housekeeping services are booked.
Please place all crockery and cutlery in the lodge before retiring at night and before departing.
All doors and windows should be closed when not in residence.
Please ensure to switch the air conditioning off when not in the unit.
All windows to be closed and all doors to be locked on departure.
Lodge keys are not allowed to be removed from the property and have to be locked in the key safe, even if you are going on a game drive.
Fire is only allowed in the designated areas; braai and boma.
Firewood for the boma and braai area can be pre-ordered for delivery at the lodge at an additional cost per bag.
No firewood to be collected from the veld.
Beer bottles, caps, cigarette butts etc thrown in the veld will be cleaned at a charge of R500.
Any damages caused by non-adherence will be charged to guests directly.
Some roads in the reserve are not tarred, and it is recommended to use a vehicle with a high clearance when possible.
