We are situated on a private wildlife conservancy approximately 40 km from Pretoria. The farm is also located around the corner from the Dinokeng Big 5 Game Reserve and the historic town of Cullinan. Each cottage has a fireplace inside and a private gas-heated Jacuzzi outside. This bushveld escape is quiet and off-the-grid.
Accommodation comprises 2 separate cottages suited to accommodate 2 to 8 guests and can be booked as 1 or separately. Each cottage comes with their own bathroom, kitchen, outside entertainment area and braai. With hiking trails into the koppie behind the lodge and easy walking or cycling around the conservancy amongst the free roaming wildlife that graze up to the windows. Walking route was very comfortable and the animals seen, which roamed freely. Host's presence was of outstanding quality. Will be visiting again in the near future. The getaway was an absolute feast. The host was amazing and welcomed us kindly and made sure all our needs were met. We had a lovely weekend away with our 2 dogs. We will definitely be back! Thanks for everything.
To sum it up in one word, it was "blissful". With the rushed pace of life, we were looking for a quiet getaway place away from the hustle and bustle of life, and we found it here. Just 40 minutes' drive from Centurion, we were in the middle of what felt like bushveld. A clean, quiet place with plenty to do: walking trails, a games room, a Jacuzzi, and the soothing sounds of birdlife all around you. The nights are quiet, and the surroundings offer a chance to get some proper rest and spend quality time with loved ones. The host was super friendly and happy to share info on walking trails and things to do, checking in daily to see if all is ok and if we were comfortable and happy. His passion for the accommodation shines through like a bright star. Coupling this with his knowledge of the local fauna and flora, it was a pleasure speaking with him. And then we need to mention one of the 3 resident K9's, calm and friendly-natured as his owner. He accompanied us on our walks and guided us along the pathways. He too checked in on us daily and made us feel part of the family. Staying at Bushbliss Lodge was an amazing experience, and we left with a bit of sadness knowing Monday is knocking on our doors. We will most certainly revisit Bushbliss Lodge. We arrived tired and looking for some quiet time, and left this morning refreshed and recharged. Thanks for a super weekend. We really had a great time at your facility. =).

It was incredibly peaceful and wonderful for us to be able to sleep so isolated and safe with the zebras grazing at our bedroom window. The facilities were very up to standard, and we didn't miss anything. It was lovely to relax in the hot jacuzzi in the evening and then lie on the bed with the fireplace keeping the cold winter nights out. One of the best host I have come across. Explained everything well and went out of his way to arrange everything for us, even a restaurant to watch rugby. Thanks for everything.
We had a great time relaxing in the peaceful surroundings. The jacuzzi was the highlight. You can have a great barbecue on the stoep and explore the surroundings, Cullinan is only 18 km away.

Water pressure in the shower could be improved. Change the shower to a gas geyser, like a hot tub.
The towels were full of dog hair and grass. Lights are turned off by the owner while we use it. The burglar bars in the bathroom are just loose pieces of iron that were put down. Definitely not a king sized bed as advertised. The entertainment area was so dirty and run down, not a clean chair or table in sight. If it wasn't for the hot tub we got to enjoy, this was a total waste of money. Photos look like the place but are very misleading. The general feeling we got is that we slept in an old outhouse.
We will definitely visit Bushbliss Lodge again. The scenery is absolutely beautiful and it is wonderfully quiet and peaceful, with a feeling that you are far away from the city. Iain was very helpful in making us feel comfortable. There is plenty to do for relaxation, such as hiking trails, a jacuzzi and a 4x4 trail just around the corner.
Fantastic spot to recharge and have fun with the family. Exactly as described. The kids absolutely loved the jacuzzi, table tennis, and adventure bowls.
We were kindly received by Iain and Caesar (staff). Beautiful, small unit furnished with the essentials. The jacuzzi and private braai area was lovely, where one could appreciate the scenery and sounds. Ventured on both hikes with Caesar by our side. We encountered the most beautiful wildlife on our routes, and had a beautiful view at the top of the hill. Was only there for two nights but definitely felt relaxed and rested.
You are made to feel part of the day-to-day experience. The lodgings at Bushbliss Lodge were comfortable and the time spent there was charming. We were truly spoiled with stories about the area and how neighbors look out for each other. Iain, the owner of the establishment, is a wonderful person. We will definitely recommend Bushbliss Lodge simply because of the passion of the individuals we were lucky to have met. It's a must for parents with inquisitive children.
Beautiful little forest house with a cozy fireplace in the bedroom that makes the winter nights very special. Definitely worth it, just a little bit of trouble with signal, but we will definitely come again! Iain went out of his way to make us feel welcome!

Sun and Moon cottage was perfect for me and my wife. If you are looking for an okek to break away from the hectic city life, this is the place to rest. Fireplace in the room for a warm room in the cold winter evenings. Jacuzzi and barbecue area ideal and private. Would recommend for the couples who just want to get away and rest. Thank you for fresh flowers inside the house. Neat and clean unit, with a welcoming host. Well furnished and a fireplace in the room. Hot tub is a winner, with nice hot water. Different braai facilities and fire place that will meet different needs. Unit is well equipped with everything you need for a well-deserved getaway in silence. Convenient large fridge available. Host made a lot of extra effort. Animal friendly under control of your own animals.
The unit is very spacious and clean and Iain, the owner, is very attentive and helpful. It is a very peaceful place with fantastic bird life and free-roaming game. There are some nice walking trails to explore. Each unit also has a private Jacuzzi, braai, patio etc. It is also not far from Cullinan which has an abundance of interesting shops, restaurants and guided mine and museum tours which we really enjoyed. If you like peace, birds and animals, I would highly recommend a stay at Bush Bliss Lodge.
There was a problem with his power the day of our arrival, and he arranged for us other accommodation and paid the other establishment in full. The next day we went back to his place, and he refused to let me pay any further fees. He was very helpful and friendly and handled everything by himself. I would recommend him anytime and will definitely go there again.
Such a lovely, spacious (!) place and really well equipped. We had a great time and so did our dogs. The jacuzzi was an ideal bonus. Iain is a great guy and he went out of his way to make our stay as pleasant and comfortable as possible. We will definitely be back and will recommend to friends!

Bushveld setting with private Jacuzzi. Our 1 bedroom (Sun & Moon) unit was small, but comfortable and private. Outside living area is fenced which made it nice for our little dogs.
This is a stunning, clean "off-grid" destination. When you totally want to break away from the rush! Ian is an excellent and friendly host. He even cleaned the jacuzzi mid-stay! Accommodation is clean (and small). Very quiet, away from everything. Vodacom was almost non-existent for most of the long weekend (Yippie!). My wife was able to connect with MTN often enough to stay in touch with our daughter. Loved the 4 km and 7 km (not marked) hikes we enjoyed during our stay. We did a bit of nothing sitting in the "garage", then a bit of nothing in the jacuzzi, then a bit of nothing under the tree in the lapa, then a bit of nothing under the big tree close to the concrete slab, then a bit (couple of hours) sleeping! This all just to attend my 39-year (class of '84) reunion on the Saturday. Will highly recommend Bushbliss Lodge for a total breakaway for a weekend or long weekend!
The area is very beautiful and safe, wild animals seen. There was always water for showering. We didn't struggle with load shedding. Had no mosquitoes or flies. Nice barbecue and Jacuzzi.

The owner is very hospitable. The place was nice and clean and the private Jacuzzi a winner. Also really enjoyed the hiking trail up the mountain. The place is "off grid" and everything worked great. No "loadshedding" or lack of water. The braai and Jacuzzi are together and you basically have your own private yard. Your car is covered. The pots and pans are of excellent quality. We really enjoyed our time. Would definitely recommend the place!
Place was nice and remote, very quiet and peaceful.
Our stay was very very nice. What you see is what you get. That enough for 2 people. We were permanently in the Jacuzzi. If you go to rest this is the place. Very nicely located among all the trees. Very friendly security and Iain is just as friendly. There was no WiFi pin given to us. Also no mention of WiFi. If loadshedding kicks in there is literally nothing to do.
Great service received from Lian. Quiet getaway not too far from Pretoria. Hot tub was clean and worked 100%. Everything was clean and tidy. The walking path with Ceazer (staffie) was also an experience and the nature from above was breathtaking. I would definitely recommend the place if you prefer the silence of the forest without TV and social media.
Our little house didn't have much privacy. Owner comes to boil the donkey for hot water in the morning and at night, we would rather do it ourselves. Owner is friendly and helpful.

A lovely tranquil environment for an amazing break from the city without having to sit hours in the car.
