It was very welcoming. I wish they could pay attention to the road leading to their guest house. It is not easily reachable when travelling by sedan cars as they are too flat.

Room was neat and clean. There is a microwave and small fridge in the room. Braai facilities are also available, although we did not use them. The evening was quiet with no disturbing sounds or noise. It was extremely hot when we stayed. The room has no air conditioning, but does have a stand-alone fan. An air conditioner or a roof fan would be better. The owners are very friendly and helpful.

We really had a great time. Service was good and to rest this is the place to be.
It was convenient for one night's sleepover. The room is spacious, but the shower and area around the sink is very small. There is no air conditioning, it was very hot. Luckily there was a fan. The generator that goes on in the evening during load shedding makes quite a lot of noise.
There were issues and Riaan and his spouse/partner were all confused. From the time we arrived, we had issues with the water in the shower. It was never hot enough to bathe in. We constantly messaged/called Riaan and the issue was never addressed. The room alone was dusty and as my wife and I suffer from sinus issues, this was very uncomfortable. The other unpleasant issue was that there was a large window and as soon as the sun rises, it was directly on our faces. Even the WiFi was disconnected; once again, a message was sent to Riaan and he didn’t even bother to respond. This is not even fit for free accommodation and spoiled my partner’s and my anniversary. Utterly disgusting accommodation furthered by Riaan’s attitude to simply read my WhatsApp messages and not even respond. We left as early as we could on Sunday, which messed up our entire anniversary weekend in Haarties.

Very quiet in the area and also safe. Very friendly welcome. Pleasant people. My husband would suggest that there might be a TV in the room. Sometimes there is sport and then he likes to watch.
Friendly received very neat. Sorry there is no TV, but I understand you go away for a while and don't need TV, but it would have been nice to watch the rugby there.
Very tidy, barbecue available, we suggest that there is more lighting on the premises at the boma and the garden. Very friendly welcome and security systems in place for tonight.

Riaan and Louise were really kind and willing to attend to any request. The rooms are clean and there is a microwave and fridge available for use.
Stunning setting and peaceful surroundings.
Our visit was very nice. It is peaceful, and you get peace of mind while you are there. We saw night owls, heard things in the woods, but it was more exciting to see what it was than we were afraid. Will definitely go back again in the summer to enjoy the cold pool water.

It was the ideal place to stay very close to the start of the "Around the Dam Marathon" - I only had to drive over the dam bank to the start the morning before the trip.
Dirt road neat and clean, house and rooms beautiful, area around pool neat and very quiet, close to the necessary shops and a good area to spend a day or two.

We then waited outside in half an hour and were then able to drive in when someone drove out. The owner was not happy at all and said that it is dangerous if people just drive in and would appreciate it if we could call. So the welcome was not nice at all but otherwise we had a very nice stay.

The people were so friendly and hospitable. The property is truly beautiful so among the trees and scenery.
Unfortunately we arrived late as we were planning a busy day, Riaan met us in the parking lot and welcomed us, even though it was very late Riaan walked with us to the rooms and showed us around. Riaan's wife also came to make sure we were comfortable and even showed her how the gas geyser works, we really had a great time.

There was lovely scenery, along with the comfortable rooms which I really liked.
Very friendly service. Feel safe and calm! Very nice pool and sun deck! Room is well furnished, large boma and braai area! Everything was clean and tidy and definitely value for money, if we are in the area again we will definitely stay there again! Road is dirt road up to there, but very well maintained and normal cars can drive there with ease.
