We really enjoyed it. Near the sea. Safe and convenient. Plekkie is big and everything is there for a nice holiday. Easy to get to and not far from everything. Will holiday there again.

We highly recommend the Bydistrand accommodation. It's a home away from home. It's literally Bydistrand; it's a 5-minute walk away. The hostess and her son were super friendly. Loved it! We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely return in the future.

The unit is a flat on the bottom floor of a two-storey block of flats. The entrance and view is directly onto the parking area which is behind a floor-to-roof security gate. The detached braai is literally a step away from the nearest car. The bedrooms' windows are at the caravan park's entrance. At 11 o'clock in the evening campers came in with their loud music and parked at the gate and talked for half an hour. The unit should be priced as a budget option and not at its listed price. The advantage is that it is walking distance from the beach.

Our stay had both positive and negative aspects. On the positive side, the owner was friendly and accommodating. However, there were several notable issues that affected our overall experience. Firstly, a significant concern was the cleanliness of the carpet in the bedrooms, which appeared to have been neglected for quite some time and was in need of a thorough vacuuming. Furthermore, there was a notable issue with the security station located next door. They played music in their office, which is right next to the bedrooms, making the music audible within the 2 bedrooms. Although the music's volume wasn't excessively loud, its close proximity to the bedrooms made it fully audible. To manage this issue, we opted to keep the windows closed, which did help reduce the disruption. However, this also compounded the discomfort on an already very hot day. Additionally, the blinds on the large window doors facing the apartment's parking lot were not fully functional. They couldn't close all the way, leaving a noticeable gap in the middle and impacting our privacy. To add to our list of concerns, the TV in the unit didn't work as there were no channels in service. Lastly, we were disappointed to discover that there was no Wi-Fi available during our stay, which was an inconvenience for us.
