"Smelly and unhygienic accommodation with no security."

C9 Salamander was an absolute disappointment! The linen was old and smelly and was definitely not recently washed. Washed linen smells fresh, the linen used smelled awful. The cushions on the bed smelled like urine. We packed them away in cupboards as the smell was too strong. The kitchen floor looked dirty and stained and the apartment had a disgusting stench. The sofas and lounge chairs were stained as well. There was no form of security at the complex, nothing whatsoever. I booked this accommodation as I was under the impression there were not many stairs as this was a necessity for my elderly parents. I sent an email upon the booking asking if there were stairs and there was no response. When we got to the accommodation, the bedrooms are downstairs and the railings to hold onto were flimsy. To add insult to injury, the unfriendly lady who handed us the keys to the apartment at a separate venue, made us wait at the outside gate of this venue, as though we were in her way and was very irritated when my 79-year-old dad requested to use the bathroom after a 7-hour drive. Disgusting place and disgusting reception by the host. Absolutely will never recommend a place like this to anyone.
