We were there for Comrades and everything we needed was in the apartment, everything was neat and clean and because we are on the ground floor, access to the swimming pool and braai facilities is easily accessible. Will definitely go again!
Home away from home with stunning setup and decor. everything was close by pools and braai and play area. The unit is well-maintained.

Lovely modern ground floor unit close to the pool that makes it easy to watch the kids when they are swimming. The only downside is that there's no WiFi reception inside the unit, so the kids had to sit outside to use the WiFi.
Cabanas Del Mar 2 was really as advertised, close to everything you need, clean and tidy. Safety was above and beyond what I expected. Definitely on the return list of places to go.
Everything was perfect. Close to the beach and the pool for the kids was a bonus.
When we came back after a long day it was nice to know we could relax in a safe and comfortable place to stay.

We as a family enjoyed our weekend away. Cabanas Del Mar 2 was a lovely unit with easy access to the beach and right by the pool and playground which our daughter enjoyed.
There are a few things that made vacationing at Cabanas Del Mar fun. It is a fairly spacious apartment. There is enough play space for children and nice and clean swimming pools. The washing machine was a plus and helps a lot (he can dry too!). Furthermore, there are nice beach chairs and an umbrella available to use. There are some things that could improve as well. The shower's drainage pipe is blocked, it drains slowly and the water pools a lot while you shower. You also need to bring more things with you than at most other places we are used to: own towels, bath soap, dish towels, dish soap, sponges, coffee and milk. I would recommend the place off season when it is quieter but not necessarily in season or on long weekends. Our vacation ended on a long weekend and the neighbors were rowdy the last night we were there.
Poor maintenance on the unit. The ceiling fan in the master bedroom could fall at any moment, and the exhaust pipe from the toilet leaks onto the floor. Gather everything you can think of except your furniture. The unit does not have the minimum necessary items which goes without saying.
This is a good place for holidays.
Just a few points: The shower tap temperature markings are the wrong way around. The oven and hob needs servicing (door rubber, thermostat, etc). The sliding door is very sticky, requires servicing. The washing machine door doesn't open easily, requires servicing. The umbrella in the cupboard is badly damaged, perhaps remove it. It would be great if bathroom towels would be supplied. Packing 2 lots of towels per person, is too much.

Really enjoyed our weekend away at this clean, calm and beautiful accommodation. My kids loved the open space inside and outside and want to visit again. Very tidy and secure.
It is very clean and tidy. The guards were very cute and provide a good service. This place is child friendly. Playground very nice. The people who live there make it so nice that you want to go back again. The children really enjoyed it and played very well. I would recommend the place anytime. It's also close to shops, which makes it very convenient.

Very cute furnished unit in a secure complex. All that bothered me was the bed linen which was dirty on arrival (there was dried blood on the master bedroom sheet and bed linen stank) and had to be washed before we could sleep and the wet mop in the closet which made the whole unit stink. Furthermore, it is a very neat and nice unit that I would recommend to many.

It was fantastic. Very neat and clean. Place is an all in one. Beach, pool. Atmosphere was great.
Our first impression was along an open corridor past foul smelling drain and wash lines. We disturbed crabs in the drains and they scurried away as we passed we later found cockroaches in the apartment. The apartment was spacious enough clean and tidy with good kitchen equipment however the lamination was peeling off cupboards and the dustbin cupboard was rusted and falling off its hinges no dustbin was provided. Sliding doors were broken and would not close therefore no privacy in the bathroom or second bedroom. Drains in the bathroom were clogged which accounted for a foul smell in the entrance an attempt was made to clear this but not satisfactorily. The 24 hour security on the entrance gate was negated by the fact that the beach gate was not locked. Wi-Fi was available but was nearly useless due to the poor signal. The community area around the braais and pool was in a poor state with trenches dug and open and the lawns were uncut during our stay.
Beautiful apartment, modern and everything you need is there. Neat and clean. We rested well. Braai facilities are cleaned everyday, swimming pool is beautiful and the beach is right in front of the front porch. We got the key deposit back within 2 days. Excellent service! Close to all shops.
Great place to stay at. Near the ocean and beach. Fully equipped and everything you need is available and at hand.
Had a lovely stay and slept great. The only thing I would change is no smoking in childrens' play area. Counted an incredible amount of cigarette stumps in sand and perhaps make the playground a no smoking area. Because while we were playing there with our children, other guests braaied and smoked and all the smoke spilled into the playground where children were playing.
Very stylish place and the aircon is a lifesaver with the heat. Swimming pool and play area make it worth the stay!

We had a great stay at Cabanas Del Mar. Our neighbors were just noisy especially early morning hours, would prefer rules to be applied a little more strictly. The units are neat, and a fairly short distance to the beach.
The apartment was in excellent condition and the location was gorgeous. My family especially enjoyed the close proximity to the beach. An added bonus was the washing machine which was excellent. Hats off to the owner of the apartment. If I could make one small suggestion of including cleaning of the apartment in the bill even if it was three times per week. it will make the stay even better.

Die stort was 'n heerlike ervaring en die eenheid het 'n lugversorger wat baie nodig is in die hitte. Die eenheid is op die grondvloer wat 'n voordeel is, aangesien toegang tot die strand en poele maklik is. Die eiendom spog met 3 pragtige poele en braai areas. Ons het Cabanas baie geniet met die gemeenskaplike swembaddens en braai-areas. Ons sal dit beslis aanbeveel en die strand net 'n entjie se stap verder.
Travelled to Amanzimtoti with my wife and kids. Cabanas Del Mar 2 was seriously awesome. Our chalet was spotless. The furniture was brand new, for what we paid for, we expected a really cheap looking basic of basic chalet. That's not what we got. Air conditioned lounge, bathroom and shower that made you want to relax and take your time in. Walk out your chalet onto a nice green well looked after lawn, crystal clear blue pool, getting onto the beach! No problem just walk 80 m out your chalet and you are walking on a clean beach. We loved our stay there. 5 thumbs up!

It's a beautiful apartment. The sea is a stone's throw away and the swimming pools were a wonderful plus when the sea was too rough. The air conditioning in the apartment was a feast. We slept so well and our baby enjoyed his own bed. I recommend the place to anyone.

The Cabana itself is on the ground level and is very well equipped, clean and tidy. The complex is very well maintained and well equipped with three swimming pools that are kept sparkling clean. The security at the entrance was very good. However, what is a problem is that prospective renters are not informed that there is quite a distance between the parking lot and the Cabana itself. The parking is also on a lower level than the Cabana and that it is uphill with stairs to get to the next level which makes it very difficult for elderly people who have difficulty walking to get their luggage to the Cabana. No help is offered and is therefore not recommended for elderly people.

Cabanas Del Mar 2 was an excellent place to have spent my birthday. The rooms was super clean. Chantelle was absolutely awesome, ensuring that all was in order before we arrived. It was such a safe environment for my children and with security present to ensure that other guests was not behaving in a unruly manner. Excellent service.
