The open plan kitchen is fully equipped with a stove, oven, fridge-freezer, microwave and a dishwasher. Stay was very relaxing except for the beach being brown by our section. View was exceptional from the two rooms above. Pet friendly. My daughters' room and sons' room had bed bugs; they were bitten terribly. Please have those two rooms' beds cleaned. No air conditioning available, even though I asked for air conditioning in Calamari 11.
The house is fully equipped with everything you need. Children could have fun playing and own privacy on the beach was beneficial. Will definitely return.

Weekend break - good value.
Staying in Calamari 10 was fantastic. The unit is right on the ocean with no one else in front of you. Our family really enjoyed having lunch picnics on the lawn with the ocean as background music. Although most of the time we went swimming at the main beach at Ramsgate (only a 5 min drive) because the children are still small and enjoyed swimming in the river and tidal pool. The beach in front of us was still fantastic for early morning and late afternoon adventures with the kids and we even befriended an octopus. Will definitely stay there again.

The apartment has everything needed for a wonderful break. The view is wonderful and the area peaceful.
I have never had a kitchen that is as well equipped and access to both a dishwasher and washing machine was great. The unit is also very attractively decorated.

Weather was nice and we just wanted to rest. Therefore this was the ideal place. Very disappointed in the area. Ramsgate and Margate are no longer the holiday destination we used to know.

The cottage was very neat and tidy and clean. Everything that you need was provided and it's in an excellent location. It's got a beautiful view and it's right on the beach which was perfect.

It's definitely a place I would recommend. It is clean and tidy, plus they have thought of everything, including toys for children. Every morning you have badgers that come to visit. Will definitely stay there again.

Everything was just great, will definitely go back and our kids love everything I showed them on video. The time at Calamari 10 made me decide to sell in Vereeniging, I'm going to look for a place to live on the South Coast.

They really thought of everything: from toys, board games, dishwasher, beach bag and chairs, alarm system, lock up garage, I could go on. We stayed wonderfully and could really just relax. Although I would recommend that you drive to the swimming beaches instead, it is still within walking distance. The return to the long day in the sun was not so pleasant. The accommodation is really centrally located i.t.v. shops, beaches, places to eat etc. The only suggestion I can make is that they buy a small vacuum cleaner as the apartment is no longer "serviced", it's really hard to get rid of all the sand with just a broom and shovel. Thanks for a wonderful getaway, we will definitely book again.
The allocation is very nice, very quiet and nice for the fishing. Nice view.
The decor in the unit is beautiful and the owners really thought of everything from pots to toys for the kids. The lower room where the two single beds are is just not very practical as it is ideal for children, but it's between the living area/kitchen and living room so the children only settled down when the whole house went to bed. Difficult with smaller children. Because the beach is open to the public, there was a case or two where strangers came walking in front of our unit asking for money. The unit itself protected the owners very much.
This was our third time staying here and Calamari 10 will definitely see us again!

The unit offers all the amenities expected of a self-catering unit and more. From the very comfortable beds to the well-equipped kitchen and private built-in braai on the stoep. And then there is the wonderful sea view regardless of whether you are relaxing on the veranda or in any of the bedrooms. The location is also perfect for nature lovers. There is a family of badgers that live in the bushes next to the house and stretch out on the lawn every morning before the hordes of monkeys make their appearance. Both Margate and Ramsgate's swimming beaches can be reached within minutes by road or by a refreshing walk along the beautiful beach.

Best beach holiday yet, with the most wonderful sea view you could ask for. Not even necessary to visit the other beaches because you have your own spotless and quiet beach on your doorstep. Where can you still find a place to sit and watch the sunrise with the two most beautiful blue duiker playing on the lawn? Truly worth it, and we will definitely go again. My wife was a bit skeptical because there was no fence but that was only at the beginning seeing as how the alarm and the 24 hour security services makes you feel completely safe. I will go again even if they put up no fence. You won't know before you've been there. Very nice stay!

Top-notch facilities with a sea view from every bed. Close tot the peaceful beach and green grass makes it even better. Security in the complex can be improved especially if you pitch up with two vehicles, but will definitely be back.
Calamari 10 is a beautiful unit with the most gorgeous sea view. I would suggest that they consider a more modern TV in the unit.
