The open-plan kitchen is fully equipped, including a dishwasher, washing machine as well as a thermal clothes dryer. The lounge is equipped with a premium DSTV package, and there is also unlimited Wi-Fi and Netflix. The unit boasts a UPS for uninterrupted viewing and WiFi use during loadshedding.

This place feels like home! Absolutely amazing.
Surrounding areas such as Ramsgate, Southbroom, Mac Banana, Uvongo, Shelly Beach, Lake Eland are definitely worth a visit. There is so much to do.
You have to visit this place.
No stairs to beach, perfect view and almost no traffic on the beach like a private beach. Will be back in November.
The unit is very nice and tidy - with just a few steps from the beach it would have been the perfect holiday.
The apartment is well equipped. Bathrooms small and cramped. Beds are very hard. During rain the roof leaks in rooms and living room. Had to collect water in bucket. Dri Buddi is very comfortable and kitchen tidy with dishwasher and washing machine.
Our expectations were exceeded. We will definitely go there again. Great!

Calamari 11 is a beautiful seaside apartment, literally 30 meters from the beach. The view from the living room and all three rooms is breathtakingly beautiful. There is a beautiful, green lawn in front of the apartment. The beach is not really safe for swimming (rocks), but there are 2 safe swimming beaches within a 5 minute drive away, with lifeguards, bathrooms and places to eat. Although it is possible for people to enter the complex uninvited via the beach, I only saw someone once, and the place is well protected by burglar bars, security gates and an alarm system. The place is fully equipped, even with beach chairs, a washing machine and a dryer. There are enough (extra) cutlery and kitchen items that you don't have to struggle. We were looking for a place where tired people can just rest, be alone, and watch the sea, and that's exactly what we found. The apartment is on two floors, with stairs, so be careful with small children and older people. We wanted to visit longer, and if it is possible we will definitely come again.
Was our third time at Calamari 11 and will definitely go again and again. Lovely neat place to stay with the most incredible view. Perfect for people with young children.
As close to perfect as can be. The sea is with you, the apartment is extremely neat and fully equipped. When you call about a question or something, they get right back to you. The parking is a bit tight, especially for 2 vehicles and vans can't fit in the garage, but they let us know in advance. We will definitely go there again.
The establishment being nicely located prompts continuous visitation. We especially enjoyed the cleanliness of the beaches.

This is a lovely equipped apartment. Wonderful view. Feel very safe. The beds are very comfortable. If there is what one needs and then some extras. Would love to stay there for longer.
Wonderfully located right on the beach. Nice lawn until you are on the beach about 16 m from the porch of the unit. Owner takes care of place very well with everything in unit you want.
Position of apartment cannot be beaten a few steps away from the beach. Everything was clean and well equipped down to water bowl for the dog. Being dog friendly was a huge bonus and we will visit again.

We will definitely come again. The house has everything one needs. The beach is beautiful with room for swimming and rock pools to explore. We, our little girl and our labrador enjoyed our holes out. Well done Calamari 11.
Calamari 11 is a nice place to stay. Our family of 5 stayed there with ease. The best part is that it is so close to the beach. The beach is also quieter than the main beaches and makes you feel like it belongs to you. Gradwell who looks after the place was very helpful.
Everything is very nice there and neat. Only one thing missing is a pan and brush to clean the braai with.
The showerhead in the shower is leaking. Taps in the bath and kitchen need new washers- difficult to open and close. Otherwise no problems.
Calamari was definitely value for money. Right on the beach - We will come here again to relax.

Safety a bit of a concern as we had to chase a few bums coming from the side of the road. Cleaning services are great for the 2 hours they are there and only clean underneath. Furthermore, the view is incredible especially for young children with the large lawn and spacious house. Will go back again.

Cleanliness, dead insects on floors and kitchen area. Tried to sweep out but broom handle broken. Lots of old food on carpet in lounge, battled to clean with broken broom. Used two tall glasses and one short glass, all dirty, with lip marks on sides of glasses. One large dinner plate chipped, did not use, placed it back in the cupboard. Pillows so hard and heavy had neck pain the next day. Windows upstairs would not stay open due to rust and damage, was reluctant to open on right side of first bedroom upstairs so left closed. I don't like to moan at all, never have, but generally disappointed. I hope they sort out for other guests in the future.
It has an amazing view. Right on the beach. Really didn't want to go home. It was really my dream place by the sea.

My family and I had a great time at Calamari 11. Everything was just perfect; we enjoyed our time. We're definitely going to go back again.
Fairly centrally located, everything needed is available within accommodation. No need to bring unnecessary things. Fairly close to many places to eat and attractions and literally opposite the beach.
A beautiful place practically on the beach. Very fully equipped. The beach cottage decor makes you feel very much at home. Railings make it very accessible for older people as it is a duplex.

Accommodation is nicely situated right on the beach. It is a quiet, comfortable and has everything that you could possibly need. Had a very pleasant cleaning lady come once a day which was unexpected too. We will be back again in the future.
We had a very nice stay. The apartment is neatly clean and well equipped. Air conditioner in the rooms could be a plus.
Apartment is located a few steps from the sea. Comfortable beds, fully equipped. Braaiplek overlooks the sea and is ideal for an ice cold one with a peaceful view. There is a beach and fishing opportunities on the porch. A lot of badgers have also come to visit us and they seem to be used to the holidaymakers.

What a wonderful holiday! The fantastic location and the tranquility make this place one of my favorite holiday locations ever. The apartment is beautiful and clean and there was no one who came knocking to bother us. Apart from the usual benefits that one expects as a holidaymaker, there was the lovely bonus of a dishwasher and washing machine which saves you a lot of trouble! The nicest of the bonuses was that you get the whole DStv package with the nice place and not just a few channels, without having to bring your own card or machine! Mandy is also available and responds to inquiries in record time. It was truly a five star holiday.
Mandy responds to guests' requests. They are currently in the process of setting up a see-through fence which I believe will provide visitors more peace of mind. The apartment answers all our needs.
Very neat, well located place if you have pensioners with you. Close to the sea. Well equipped with beach chairs etc. It was a bit of a drive-around to get the key, since the person who directed us doesn't know left from right. But, other than that, great accommodation and would stay here again. The sea is really as close as the advert shows.

This was the best apartment that is closest to the beach, we enjoyed the holiday a lot. The only problem we had was the beggars that knock on your door for money, the Calamari apartments will have to get palisades around the complex because anybody can enter from the street. But otherwise it was good. Thank you.
Please fix shower door and clean fans. Otherwise the stay was as pleasant as ever. Mandy, also keep us up to date on any work that will be done in the complex.

Calamari 11 is a stunning apartment right on the beach. Views of the sea from all bedrooms, well equipped, comfortable, quiet and relaxing. Beautiful walk from the apartment across the beaches to Ramsgate and back. Would highly recommend this place to anyone, whether a couple or family as it's excellently priced and you can also bring along your furbaby if you like. We will definitely be back. It was exactly what I was looking for, which was close access to the beach and you can't get any closer than this! Just beautiful! Thank you!
A railing by the stairs would help older people a lot.
The apartment is really fully equipped. Everything you might need is there. It's lovely to sit on the grass and watch the children play on the beach. I would not recommend that people with small children should walk to the swimming beach. It's just too far for the children, they get tired. The parking is a bit awkward for a large vehicle, but not impossible. No fence between the apartment and the beach is nice for the children, but beggars make a bit of a nuisance of themselves and come right up to your door when you're inside.
The sea view is beautiful. Would recommend any family to nest at Calamari 11 for a vacation.

Had a great holiday and loved the grass and beach on our doorstep for my 5 year old. Although we were safe and there were no incidents I didn't like feeling like I had to be "on my guard" all the time. The complex is not fenced, so there is access from the street to the complex and beach.
Very clean, comfartable family home.
Was very nice, very close to the beach, will definitely go again. All that is missing is air conditioning, then the place will be perfect.
