Calamari 9 is a self-catering beachfront holiday apartment located on a beautiful stretch of Ramsgate North beach with stunning beach and sea views. Guests are able to walk from their verandah, directly onto the beach, only 30 m away.

The duplex apartment can accommodate up to 6 guests and comprises 2 bedrooms upstairs, both of which contain a queen-size bed each; and a sleeping area with a single bed and a slide out one underneath, which is adjacent to the lounge downstairs. Both rooms and lounge area have amazing sea views and the main bedroom and lounge are fitted with air-conditioners while the second bedroom has a ceiling fan. The apartment is serviced by 2 bathrooms, 1 en-suite with a bath, and the other with a shower and a washing machine, as well as a separate guest toilet.

Please take note that the air-conditioners are on a prepaid meter and if used, will need to be topped up by the guest.

The open-plan kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering with a dishwasher, stove, oven, fridge-freezer and microwave as well as a thermal clothes dryer. There is also a breakfast bar with stools. The comfortable lounge suite seats 6 and has a flat-screen TV with premium Explora DStv and a DVD player. The unit is also equipped with unlimited WiFi (fibre) with Netflix for your use.

Furthermore, the unit boasts a UPS system for uninterrupted viewing and WiFi use during loadshedding.

The patio door from the lounge opens up onto a lovely patio area with patio furniture, a built in braai and a large grass area for children to play. There is a single garage provided and the unit is fitted with an alarm and a safe for your valuables.

The unit is not serviced but this can be arranged at a fee. All linen and towels are provided, but please bring your own beach towels.

The complex is within walking distance to Ramsgate and Margate's blue flag swimming beaches as well as the Waffle House and Blue Lagoon restaurants, or if you prefer to drive it's only a short 3-minute drive in either direction. La Capannina and Just So Chinese restaurants are only a short walk, a mere 200 m away.

House rules
A breakage deposit of R 1000.00 is required per booking, which will be refunded within 7 working days of your departure, provided the unit is left in the same condition as upon arrival and that all is in order.
Please report any discrepancies or damages in the unit to our office by the following working day.
The unit is strictly non-smoking and guests are required to smoke outside. Failure to comply could result in the forfeiture of your deposit in order to steam clean curtains, carpets and furniture.
Should we find that there are more guests staying in the unit than what we quoted on; or that the number exceeds the total allowed capacity; your deposit will be forfeited.
This unit is pet friendly but permission must still be obtained.
Please further be advised that this unit has a TV with full DStv Explora package, so it is not necessary to bring your own with.
Please bring with beach towels. All bath towels and bed linen are provided.
A complimentary toilet paper and guest soap is provided, but because this unit is self-catering this must be replenished at your own cost. Please also remember to bring with dish washing liquid and other cleaning materials you may want to use.
Cleaning services can be arranged for you between 8:30 to 14:30, excluding week-ends and public holidays. This must please be booked through our office at least 48 hours in advance and must be paid to us upfront and not directly to the cleaner. Please also note that this service is subject to availability of resources, especially during peak seasons.
