Friendly arrival. Very nice room. Wi-Fi. DSTV limited channels. Room nice and clean. Bathroom newly raised. Bath and shower. Nice hot water. 2 armchairs with small table. Fridge with freezer section above. Secure parking inside.

The place is well located. Was perfect for us and definitely met our needs. There were a few things to note: We were received kindly and on the way to the room I could smell the lady smelling of alcohol. She struggled to put the key in the keyhole. She was clearly under the influence. Then attention can be paid to someone who can be at their post when you check out. Last thing. Would suggest curtain or blind in the bathrooms. Other than that, we had a very nice stay, thank you.
We had a great stay, thank you. The mattress of the master bedroom bed is just very bad. Please suggest he be replace. Other than that we were satisfied.
We called ahead to find out which rooms had stairs so we could reserve a unit without stairs for my mother in law who has difficulty walking, only to arrive and get a room without stairs. Didn't sleep at all that night, because the 2 rooms next to us chatted and made noise until 4:45 in the morning. We reported it in the morning because no one was there through the night. The manager and lady helping just laughed and said "eish". Otherwise very neat, but staff unhelpful.
We were disappointed that we couldn't stay in the room we booked and paid for because we had a romantic evening planned.
Lovely place with lovely people - just felt a little disappointed by the pool and surrounds. The pool was smaller than expected, and the patio furniture had not been cleaned.
Everything went well.
A guest house is supposed to provide breakfast the next morning, the coffee and tea tray also only had 1 coffee and 2 sugars. My husband and I don't drink tea, the next morning when we drove, there was no one to give the key to, and we just threw him through a window at the gate when the remote closed behind us.
No persons on arrival. Get key from housekeeping. No dstv or wifi. Bath unsafe, foot broken off. No positive feedback on already mentioned complaints, no persons at departure, give key to gardener.
Our room was more than comfortable, with fridge, coffee and tea facilities, a very good bed and a lovely little patio with outdoor shower and bad. Receptionist Gugu herself collect our ordered sushi, since the restaurant didn't had a delivery service. We had a great stay at Calla Lily GH.

Two of the rooms we booked were totally not what we paid for. Then it said on website they haven't updated yet. Checked on other websites and was the same. Wanted to speak to management but was told they were unavailable. The double room we took for the girls has 2 king size beds and a wooden floor, now all of a sudden one king size bed with a cement floor and a dirty sleeper couch, outside bathroom only has a shower not a bath as in pictures not. Felt like an idiot when my friends went into their room and totally didn't get what I promised them, sacrificed our room, the excuse then is that it is now an office.

The bathroom between the two rooms without curtains or privacy is uncomfortable.
It was not stated that the 2 rooms share a bathroom, and the bathroom cannot be closed from one side, which means that if you want to use it, the other couple has to go out. There was also no coffee the next morning or option for breakfast. The bed was good but the frame was worn out.
The outside area where the shower and bath is located was very dirty there were insects and leaves in the sink, shower, bath and on the floor. The customer pays extra for the convenience but was too dirty to be used. When water is tapped in the bath, water runs out of the light into the bathroom. One of the pillows didn't have a tear on it either.

When we arrived we were shown a room with one bed, I believe I booked two queen size beds, we waited 10 mins for them to say we could have another room. No introductions from staff on arrival, no orientation to our room, no checkout procedure so we did not feel very welcome. The air-con didn't work but it seemed like too much effort to find someone so we left it. The bedside lamp was broken, it worked but the glass decoration was broken.
I would go again anytime - it's clean, tidy and the food was fresh and delicious. They might look at the steps that go around to the rooms, they are very slippery - I slipped and fell there.
