Really peaceful, clean and nicely situated in Clarens, close enough to town, and well communicated with owners.
Calm Clarens was exactly what we needed. It's the most beautiful beautiful place! Everything was neat, clean, lovely bedding, stunning fireplace and outdoor barbecue. We will definitely stay there again. It's so nice and peaceful and private and spacious! Calm Clarens is even more beautiful than the photos show! And is so helpful and friendly, thank you very much for a wonderful break!
Yes, accommodation is wonderful!
It was the cutest house. They catered for the cold attention in every way. Good quality linen and was such a cozy place. If you're staying longer than 2 or 3 days, a TV screen might be a good solution for streaming. Otherwise it was a really beautiful place.

It was extremely good value for money and so tidy and comfortable.
It was very peaceful. There is a nice braai area. We didn't make use of it. But if you just want to hang out there, that's nice too. Everything you need is there. Just make sure to bring some fresh milk.
The accommodation is top notch. Neat and very comfortable.

Our biggest concern was that our fur baby would have a place to stay where he could enjoy some space of his own. Although not a big yard, our goldie loved it. We loved the easy access and the open plan of the unit.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Calm Clarens. It was everything that was described, absolutely clean and perfect for a couple. Such a beautiful place. The fireplace was perfect for winter. Will definitely be returning.

As well as the well-equipped guest houses I ever stayed at. Calm Clarens is a wonderful and very stylish and luxurious guest house, I highly recommend it to travellers visiting Clarens.
Calm Clarens unit 3's interior is beautiful. Very nice place, private and super neat. Would definitely recommend any of the units. We will stay there again on our next visit to Clarens.

We stayed in Unit 2. When we arrived the room was already nicely warmed up, which was really lovely. Everything is very clean and tidy and I love the room's decor. Everything that is actually just perfect. Will definitely stay there again and will also recommend the place to family and friends.

Calm Clarens Unit 1 is a gem of accommodation. The little porch is delightfully private with the morning sun greeting you with that first cup of coffee. The decor is tasteful and creates a wonderful atmosphere. The linen and pillows are top quality. We had Dream - slept well! The bathroom is super clean with a large shower. We rested and relaxed wonderfully. It felt like time stood still here. The cottage is slightly out of the hustle and bustle of the village but still close enough to walk. Lorna and Mark are one word - great! Can recommend Calm Clarens 100%.

We only stayed one night but would definitely come back here. Lovely studio, a comfortable bed and has everything you need. Lorna and Mark were really welcoming and communication for checking-in/out was very smooth.

Calm Clarens is the ideal place to stay for a few days in lovely Clarens. It is an easy walk to town. The accommodation is well equipped, neat and clean. The Unit is well furnished and the decor and colour scheme is good quality. The efficient air conditioner offers effective cooling for summer and heating for winter (plus an indoor fireplace). We will definitely book there again for our next Clarens visit.

My husband and I visited unit 2 for our 3-year wedding anniversary in November 2022. The place did not disappoint. Loved the cosyness and friendly owners.
Welcoming space - ready for our arrival. Comfortable and convenient space to stay in. Fantastic taste and very tastefully decorated. Lovely, approachable hostess with good communication.
We will definitely stay here again. The location is excellent. If you like a little quieter accommodation, this is perfect! It's a bit away from the hustle and bustle of all the weekend guests, but close enough to be in the town center within 3 minutes. The unit was one of the cleanest we have ever found, even the fridge was spotless. Lorna and her husband are pleasant and helped us with every query. The fireplace was a bonus as it got a little cool. It was also nice without a TV, just take a speaker/tablet with you if you're looking for some music. The decor is very interesting. The WiFi also works, even if it is load shedding and it makes life a little easier. We took our little gas duster with us, but, it's part of our standard equipment that we take with us these days with load shedding when we drive around. Otherwise you can make a nice braai and relax. Our stay was very enjoyable.
Had an incredibly nice time with the owners the night we got there when the power went out. The owners are very friendly and you can see that they have a passion for people.
