30 guests' feedbackWe had a very nice stay. The place was very clean and tidy. The owner and workers were very friendly. It was nice to hang out in and around the pool.
Great customer service and very helpful. Ice and charcoal available on site. I would definitely use Camp Jonathan again.
The room as well as the premises are clean and tidy. The service at Camp Jonathan was good and the staff friendly, any questions we had were answered kindly and we received good advice. The kitchen is clean and easy to use and has a cozy atmosphere.
It's nice not to have to wash dishes for a mother who has to cook every day, it's a plus point. The people do it for you. Kitchen is well equipped and there is room for everyone to be able to cook as you should. You can really just rest and enjoy the time with your people. Despite the load shedding, the management did everything in their power to make it comfortable and enjoyable for us. We will definitely do it again.
The friendly staff were helpful and always available. We will definitely return.
Was amazing and everyone was friendly.
Everything was in place with plenty of parking, plenty of braai spots and 2 large meeting and cooking areas. Everything worked. The showers were clean, except that one shower leaked and the other shower head kept moving (it's a bit old). The pool is a bit green at the moment. Upon arrival, the man in the garden helped me and explained everything nicely. He was very helpful with everything and did everything - from gardening to admin and managing money in the office. I would stay at the camp again.
This was our second stay at Camp Jonathan and we were yet again amazed at the customer centric approach of all the members in their team - from the owners to the staff. Nothing is a problem and everything is done with a smile. We were a big group of family and friends, from old to young, and everyone has categorically stated that they will return.
Camp Jonathan was the perfect place for us. The bathrooms were clean and tidy, in the kitchen there was no shortage. It was peaceful and relaxing and not too far from the sea. We will definitely go again.
Really nice for a family budget holiday. If you are not one for camping, but on a budget with kids, this is a lovely clean option and gives you a comfortable place to return to after your day of exploring Sodwana bay.
Value for money. Great service. Friendly, helpfull staff. Very clean accommodation.
Even though we 9 people only stayed 1 night, everyone from reception to every worker helped us. given more than 100%. They moved braai's around as we wanted, made a fire and found a safe place for 1 open van fully loaded for the night. Sleeping was great and a big fridge in every place. Toilets and ablution clean and tidy. We couldn't find any fault. Well done, Camp Jonathan.
Camp Jonathan is a convenient base to return to after exploring and enjoying Sodwana again. The fridge in each unit is a huge bonus.
It's really good value for money. All that is needed is provided and the service and facilities are of top quality.
If you understand that these are not luxury residential units with TV etc. is not you will enjoy it. It's basically camping but with soft beds and brick walls. The kitchen was always clean with all the necessary items available. The ablution pads were also always clean. If you go in to find fault you will be able to write books.
Camp very pleasant and never queued for bathrooms or to make food. Ablution pads very neat. Atmosphere pleasant. Storage space slightly increased in 2-bedroom units.
As it was the first time I visited Sodwana Bay I was not aware of the fact that you and your car have to be paid every day to get to the beach. I communicated my disappointment to the owner of Camp Jonathan and she was very helpful and agreed to give me my money back so that I could then stay in St. Lucia could go and stay. Also, just note that Google Maps picks up this particular location as "Jonathan Camp", and instead follow the directions she sends to avoid a rough dirt road through Jozini.
Was neat and clean. Friendly reception. Enjoyed it a lot.
Please put tiles in the rooms the bare cement just don't give a good impression. And a 10 out of 10 for service by Eric.
Our stay was amazing and all the people very friendly. Erick was very helpful with any requests we had. Swimming pool is an oasis and we enjoyed it thoroughly. Thank you very much for the stay.
Very nice stay at Camp Jonathan. Ina is a very good hostess and Dawie goes to great lengths to keep the guests safe and happy. Thank you very much for a pleasant week!
Camp Jonathan is a very neat holiday resort. We really enjoyed our stay. The ablution block is very neat and clean. Will recommend it to anyone.
Very pleasant place for young couple or fishermen!
Great place to stay. Price affordable and accommodation clean, thanks Eric.
Ina and Dawie are very hospitable and went out of their way to make sure everything was OK with the stay. Can definitely recommend Camp Jonathan. If you like camping this is the ideal place. It creates the experience of a camping holiday, you just don't stay in a tent or caravan. I will definitely visit Camp Jonathan again.
On arrival we were not too happy with the operation of everything, but attention was paid to it and we really enjoyed it and will stay there again if we want to stay in cottages.
I would recommend the place to people anytime. The fact that all the necessary kitchen equipment is provided is very very convenient.
It was like glamping, glamorous camping. The kitchen was well equipped clean, neat and tidy. The staff were friendly and helpful. Hot water all the time, and an awesome swimming pool. You have a feeling of safety and security.
The value for money for a family with two small children is not in line with what one gets. The facilities are very nice, but are more suited to anglers and divers - it gets quite expensive when you pay full price for the little ones. There is no bedding.
