Our stay at Camphers Rest is always the best, and that is why we continue going back there. It is so tranquil and the hosts are always so accommodating.
The unit is comfortable and tidy, with everything you need. It is also very well located. Thank you very much for the Nescafe in the unit, it is much appreciated. It's also very nice to have the parking area nearby with luggage. Secure parking.

Perfect set up for a quick overnight stay. Not much to do entertainment-wise, especially not for a toddler, but it was all we needed for a night's rest before heading to our next stop. The owner was warm and friendly and kept in contact with us via WhatsApp. He also provided us with wine glasses and a corkscrew opener from his own house. The room was clean, the bedding was comfortable, the shower was spacious, and the WiFi helped keep the little one entertained with cartoons.

The place is in a relaxing environment, clean, and has all the facilities one would need to feel at home. The only challenge is hot water because when you run a shower, you don't finish 30 seconds with hot water. It changes to freaking cold, so they need to review whatever they use for hot water.

Werner (owner of the guest house) is extremely hospitable and made us feel very welcome. The room and bathroom were neat and clean. There was a microwave, water and a small fridge. Just take your own shampoo etc. I would recommend anyone to stay there. Very quiet and safe. Would definitely stay there again!
Has tea and coffee facilities and a fridge, but not self-catering, but they kindly gave me a microwave to warm up my dinner, for which I was very grateful. Great shower and a perfect spot at the base of the mountain for an early morning run.

This little place is nice to sleep over, but we were initially looking for a self-catering unit, and with reservations made over and over, we didn't really get what we were hoping for.

The room is more than adequate if you are only going to sleep there. However, it is not very soundproof so can be disturbing. Small things are missing such as e.g. soap and some shampoo for the business traveler. It's nice if there is some milk in the fridge when you arrive. The wifi is excellent.

I will definitely stay at Camphers Guest Rooms again. The unit is clean, tidy and beautiful. It is located close to the mountain and forest, which provides many opportunities for walking in fantastic surroundings. The host is friendly and helpful.

We were welcomed very kindly. We felt right at home. Werner and his wife were very helpful. Due to load shedding and water being off in the entire area, they did everything in their power to ensure that we were provided with our basic needs and that we were still as comfortable as possible.

There are people who are naturally hospitable, Werner is one of them and he is one of the most thoughtful people I have come across in a long time. Our host Werner stopped by every day to see if everything was in order or if something was missing. The facilities don't actually allow for braai facilities, but he went out of his way to provide us with a braai and utensils for the one night hubby wanted to braai.

We made a visit, actually supposed to be in Mossel Bay but everywhere was already full. Werner is an excellent host. We were made to feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. Everything was painfully clean and tidy, parking inside the yard which ensures safety. I bought quite a bit of meat and Werner was kind enough to freeze it for us until we had to go home. I have a very busy 6 year old and Werner allowed him to play with their puppies. I would recommend Camphers Guest Rooms to anyone and they will definitely see us again. Thank you very much Werner.
The light outside the unit was very distracting during the night. I would suggest that management either make use of block-out curtains or instead of a permanent all-night light, change it to a motion detection light. Other than that, we did enjoy the stay.
