Sometimes the people in the unit next to me heard it, but it never lasted long or late. Birds chirping too nice and lovely to wake up to. Location is perfect if you want to be close to nature for a little switch off.
Better option for persons doing contract work. We didn't get the room we booked. Curtains and dishcloths were dirty. Makes one wonder if the bedclothes were cleanly covered.
Honestly, there is no other place than this place I have been to. It gives you exactly what you pay for and more. Very friendly staff. I would really recommend this place to anybody just wanting to unwind and also enjoy their space.

For a small extra fee, your laundry is washed and ironed.
In the cabin, the toilet is way too small. I was very upset that we are not allowed to use the Jacuzzi in the evening and hence the reason I chose this place. So my visit was not what I expected. The check in was also very long I think it's a waste of time.
We were not aware that our unit was inside a house. The unit's door opened onto a public area that included a kitchen and entertainment area. We were thankful that the place was not busy and the area and kitchen were not overused.
It is quiet, nice and the view of Table Mountain is brilliant.
This a the perfect place for families with small kids. The grounds are covered with luscious grass that is perfect for playtime, the pool is just the right size for the avid swimmer. The owner made us feel right at home and we will definitely return.

Wolf(gang) is a fantastic owner and manager. We had numerous conversations before checking in to make sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. Wolf welcomed us with open arms and was available for any queries, assistance and accommodations when needed. We also found ourselves having lovely conversations with him. Though the guesthouse is situated in a residential area it was completely tranquil. This is a wonderful establishment to visit with owners who are truly interested in their guests and that is not always the case at most establishments.

The owner was very kind and we will visit Cape Oasis Guesthouse again.
Sleeping and bathing facilities were okay, but the kitchen was very dirty. We had to go buy dishcloths to use. It was very creepy. No drinking glasses. We had to use coffee cups or wine glasses to drink soft drinks.

The cottage was a bit rickety. The window of the bathroom could not close. The door of the TV cabinet fell out, the sliding door of the bathroom almost fell out. When we arrived there were 2 cars from an armed response unit. There was an alarm and they could not contact the owner. We also couldn't get in touch with the owner. The site resolved it quickly. The owner was very friendly afterwards and showed us where we could have breakfast etc.

The accommodation is clean and tidy. Safe. We just didn't like the vehicle parked out on the street, although the owner said it's safe. The TV in the bedroom bothered us at night, had to completely plug it out. No curtains in front of the small windows in the bedroom so it's light in the room from early morning.

Destination is close to the shopping center, so it was easy to get Croce rides, etc. Good customer service and overall experience. Will definitely go again.

We were checked into the cabin. It's very neat, but we had problems with the water. Takes about 3 min before there is hot water and in a city where there are water restrictions this should improve. The taps leak and must be turned very tightly. The bathroom is extremely small and taller people will struggle in there. My vehicle had to stand unprotected in the street. The rest of the guest house looks very neat... beautiful garden. There is a lack of a table or something to pack up your loose things in the cabin. Als had to be packed on the floor.

The lodge and fully equipped kitchen was a surprise. The sparkling clean pool was very refreshing and the hot tub a surprise. Mr Wolfgang Haslinger was very friendly and helpful. The view of Table Mountain was breathtaking. The accommodation was also centrally located with all the shops nearby, which are needed. If we visit the Western Cape again, I will choose Cape Oasis as accommodation again. The Cape was an experience with very beautiful views. Thanks also to LekkeSlaap for quick service.

The host was very helpful and friendly from the get go. The accommodation is simple, but contains everything one needs. We only slept there because we were busy with activities every day and for that it was perfect. It is nice and close to Cape Town and Bloubergstrand.
It was conveniently close to everything, Bloubergstrand and Melkbosstrand. Wonderful view over Flamingovlei and Table Mountain. Was not at all impressed with the unit, some attention is urgently needed and cleaning services also urgently need to be looked into. Got the idea we weren't welcome.

It's advertised as a "cottage", but it's a Wendy house that's partitioned off with a toilet and shower and sink. If you sit on the toilet, the door can't even be closed. There is no space. The bed is outdated and there is no insolation. They give 1 very thin duvet and we almost got cold. The kitchen is a communal kitchen that you share with others, as is the TV. We couldn't sleep that night were full of bite marks. Checked out at 05:00 in the morning due to the circumstances. Would not recommend it to people in any way.

Guest rooms not soundproof, very noisy when other guests are cooking or talking to each other, or even using the toilet.
The place is REALLY not up to standard, and we were very disappointed with our choice. Would not recommend it! When we arrived, we struggled to get in for about 15 minutes. There is no bell at the gate and the person inside's cell phone was out of reach. We finally got their attention with a hoot and the door was opened for us. The unit we were in is definitely sub-standard and I'm going to briefly explain why. I took quite a few photos to prove what I'm saying. 1. The bed was unattractive with the bottom gray sheet as the only covering over the mattress. There were two rolled single bed duvets and therefore a very uncomfortable situation if two people sleep next to each other. 2. The power plugs in the kitchen did not work and so the fridge was off and the kettle could not be used. The only electrical point that worked was the one from the TV and behind the bed from the bedside lamps, one of which didn't work either. I had to plug my cell phone charger into the TV power point which was behind the TV about 2 meters above the ground and then it later fell out and broke my cell phone. 3. There was only a small amount of sugar with no coffee, tea or anything else as we are used to at guesthouses. 4. There was a plain inner door ("hollowcore") to the unit next door where people came in late at night and rumbled until the early hours of the morning. 5. The general cleanliness and finish of the place leaves much to be desired and I would not advise anyone to stay there.
