Captain's Cabin is one of the coziest places I've ever stayed. It is exceptionally well equipped and the owner is exceptionally helpful.

The accommodation was great and the location fantastic. Children could walk to the beach themselves and cycle safely. Shops are also only a 5 minute walk away. The house was spotless and the kitchen well equipped. Although one cannot see the sea from the deck, one can hear it. I would really recommend it to anyone who wants to get away from the mad rush in the city.

We had a great stay - it was for a weekend. The cottage is in line with what we needed - everything was in good and tidy condition. We did not stay in the lower room.

We had no hot water - something was definitely wrong with the gas. One could do with WiFi and the teeny tiny toaster could do with an upgrade. Otherwise it is a wonderful little getaway.

Captain's Cabin and Pringle Bay are well worth a visit. We were kindly received. We could walk to the sea and they had no problem with our little dog who went on holiday with us. We could walk everywhere whether it was to the sea or to the shops; or even just through the streets to appreciate the beautiful fynbos. The accommodation is comfortable and well furnished.

Captains Cabin is a gem in Pringle Bay. You feel at home, but rest assured that you can relax and have a good time. Werner assisted us with all our questions and was quick to respond. I recommend Captains Cabin to any group whether friends or family. We look forward to our next visit and thank Werner.

The communication regarding the booking was very good and my questions before and during the stay were answered quickly. The accommodation is compact, well equipped and tidy, and it was nice to walk into a clean, cozy place to stay with the radio playing calm music in the background. We enjoyed the fireplace. The house was very cold the first night, we could have used more blankets. We turned on the panel heater in the children's room and luckily had our own hot water bags. The garden is securely fenced, I was worried that our one small 8kg dog would slip under the gate but it didn't happen at all. There were also 2 dog cages and nice mattresses outside for the dogs, and a water bowl. We took their own cots for inside the house. Access to the house is only via wooden stairs, if you or your dog is not mobile this must be taken into account. The walk to the beach, and even to the shops is easy and the surroundings are beautiful. There are other houses that because of the way it is built, it feels like neighbors can peek into the house a bit. Although you can't see the sea, we could hear it clearly. We had to ask for instructions on how the TV works. The gas geyser stopped working on the first night of stay and unfortunately it could not be repaired during our stay. There is an electric geyser in the little apartment below, which we then used to shower. It was a lovely break for our family and we enjoyed it.

We had the best time, and the house was just what we needed. Loved it and we will definitely be back. Amazing stay. House was so well equipped and convenient. Felt like a home away from home. Will definitely stay again. House is walking distance from the beach and very close to the shop. Completely fenced in so kids can play safely and securely in the garden. House is very protected from the wind. Had a wonderful time.
