Neat, quiet and always a pleasure to stay there. Would have liked to have a carport for my car, but there are plenty of trees to provide shade.
Everything was just right, they service rooms, and I especially liked the extra effort!
Whole experience was good.
Good value for money. The place is very nice, clean and tidy but with the load shedding of the week it was choas on the Tuesday evening. There is 1 light in the place. I then had to sit in the dark all night. Because it was level 6 I had to shower and shave in the dark in the morning. It was chaos because my phone's battery was already dead.
Had to find accommodation at the last minute for a business trip and Carters Rest was everything I needed and more. Very accommodating with take away breakfast for an early morning departure.
We booked an overnight stay on our way to Langebaan. Lovely, peaceful and very well equipped. Breakfast was conveniently ready in the small fridge which put no limit on our departure time. Owners were fantastic and helpful with Die Gat's tour times and recommended places to eat that weren't the normal easy chain restaurants. For us as a family group of 8, it is highly recommended.

We stayed at Carters Rest Guesthouse on a recent business trip. It is a lovely guest house with friendly staff (and a friendly dog). Everything was perfect for what we required. Will surely stay there again next time we are in Kimberley.
We always stay there with our parents when we come through from Dubai. It's nice to know that we have such a beautiful place where we, our parents, can meet again and if we have to say goodbye, the beautiful rooms, trees and Mollie and Rex (2 Beagles) make it easier. Thank you very, very much.
This guest house goes the extra mile, we were spoiled terribly, the room/suite is particularly spacious, the extra food special. Service is great. Guesthouse owners are "on point". One word, delightful stay.

The rooms are great and tidy. Gardens very beautiful and create a peaceful atmosphere.
The rooms are clean, spacious, tidy. There is ample parking space. We are particularly impressed with the idea of putting breakfast in the rooms so that guests can make their own continental breakfast - worked perfectly for those like us who attend horse shows early in the morning. There is the friendliest baby beagle that welcomes you! I would like to recommend guests to your guesthouse.

The rooms were very well equipped, clean and neat. We weren't prepared for making our own breakfast though. Everything was provided, but we thought breakfast would be served. Besides that it is a place I can definitely recommend.

Always scared when you use a new place. however, it was unnecessary. Everything was just tops.
We received a warm welcoming by Helene. The room is spacious, very convenient and modern. The kitchen is equipped with everything you may need. For breakfast we had a choice of bread, croissants, porridge, cold meats, cheese, yogurt and fruit — simply delicious. This place is ideal for overnight accommodation or even if you want to stay for a few more days.

Breakfast is the best idea, especially for guests who leave early and have to travel far.
Had a lovely stay at Carters Rest Guesthouse. Drove very early the next morning and the lady was kind enough to give me croissants, cheese, ham, sausages, etc. to leave out, because I could not attend the breakfast. The rooms are beautiful and very neat. Would stay there again anytime.

Owners live in their house on the property. Helene is friendly and does regular checks. Arrange payment before you leave as not sure what the arrangements are when you arrive. No bar on property so bring your own drinks. Good shopping centre within walking distance with a PnP. If you have friends over for a visit , it's difficult to accommodate them as no communal sitting area.
A beautiful and clean place, with a friendly hostess. I was disappointed by the absence of WiFi, and having to shower AFTER I specifically asked for a bath.
