Very central, neat and completely adequate.
Location is great, service is fantastic, bed sleeps well. Everything I needed was there and the food was truly heavenly.
The location is good, close to a big shopping complex. The place is very neat and in a quiet residential area.
Overnight from Langebaan to Middelburg. Uncle Pieter's hospitality made up for the long journey. We will definitely stay overnight again if the road takes us around Vryburg!
The evening meal and breakfast is 100 %. Only at the evening meal the ice did not come at the right moment, we are still busy with the hot meal. The pool is 100%.
In comparison to other places I have recently stayed in of a similar rate per night this place falls way below my expectations.
1. Bedding was not clean. 2. Kettle was dirty. 3. Overall cleanliness not up to standard.
Comfortable with clean facilities.
We only stayed one night on our way to the Northern Cape. The staff were friendly and helpful. The facilities were what we expected according to the website's description and sufficient. The family room sleeps all 5 together in one room, as the photos indicated. Beds were comfortable and clean. The breakfast was delicious and very reasonably priced!

What a beautiful house and spacious rooms. Greatly neglected though. It can be a true 4 star abode. Linen clean but towels need replacing with good quality bath sheets. Breakfast excellent. Bed comfy and enough hot water. Some broken areas that need fixing and large spiders in rooms with nothing to spray them with.
Average stay for a four star guest house. No communication from guesthouse. No person on duty and we had to call that they could come and receive us at the guest house. Room was not ready and we were moved to another room. Some of the bedding on the beds was still full of hair. Towel had a hole in it. Breakfast was good. For a four star they can do better.

Castello is centrally located (was even able to enjoy a few rounds of golf!), and offers everything one needs for an overnight stay. Breakfast was delicious, freshly prepared, and kept us going all the way to our final destination in Keimoes. Many thanks to Pieter and his team!
When travelling to Vryburg, don't waste time to look for any other guesthouse but Castello Guest House.
It was really very nice to be able to stay there. We will definitely stay with them again, but especially when it's summer. Then the children can also enjoy the pool.

The place is nice, safe and clean for a weekend out with your partner. The breakfast was delicious and presentable. Friendly staff, they change bedding everyday and the very friendly administrator of the guest house will make you feel more comfortable.

The facilities, hospitality and friendliness far exceeded my and my colleague's expectations. The staff arranged our rooms according to our needs by placing a small computer table for each of us. The staff went out of their way to give us early breakfasts and went out of their way to provide us with ice water which we needed daily in our field work. The dinners were excellent and one would not be able to find the quality, quantity of food, its presentation and variety of dishes at any restaurant. It was truly excellent value for money.

In the center of town, clean, in a nice historic house with good food and in a safe environment. It's a central location in the town of Vryburg, good for both business people and travelers and tourists. One can visit the town on foot, shop and walk around safely.
Castello Guest House is really great, big bathroom, nice bed and bedding, and our requests were met.
The rooms are a bit small, but well equipped and clean. Nice garden and pool. The guesthouse is just 10 minutes walk from the restaurants. For us it was very comfortable that there is a bar in the guesthouse.
It was nice to spend the night at Castello after the long way out of the Kgalagadi. Good accommodation, peaceful environment and good service.
We enjoyed that there was a swimming pool as it was very hot in Vryburg. Everything was up to standard and would definitely recommend.
The bathroom light does not work. The curtains are translucent. The room is prepared for one person only. No meals are available (Saturdays and Sundays).

A friendly and attentive staff and thus a pleasant stay. There is a lack of pool facilities like seating and shade. We were not sure if we had to ask for poolside chairs etc. The location was convenient and quiet. The meals (Breakfast) were good and tasty. A daily supply of cold bottled water would have been helpful as well.
Castello is definitely worth the 4 stars.
