The room was lovely, and we really enjoyed our stay. The heaters are excellent.
Slept and showered very well. Breakfast was a bit bad with only 1 egg, 2 bacons & chips where I was told it was a full English breakfast for R100. I would stay again, but maybe get breakfast somewhere else. Thank you.

We choose Castle Lodge at least 4-5 times a year and now see it drastically deteriorate. The bathroom's shower didn't even have a door, the other side of the shower had a gap between 2 panels where the water sprayed up to the toilet. The towel's arrangement lay on the ground. The whole place just looks unkempt, clean but unkempt. It's very sad, because the staff is great and the location too.

Room was generally good and everything one needs. TV struggled when we turned it on, soon fixed by staff. Bedside lights went on and off when we moved on the bed due to wall plug that touches the bed. Bathroom door does not close well, cold to shower in winter. Especially big breakfast, was surprised.

I landed at the airport at 10pm. The person who was supposed to pick me up (arranged by several emails) was not there and I had to call the guest house. At guest house 12 midnight, there was no note to give the WiFi password, had to ask at reception, but everyone was already asleep. Although breakfast was included, which starts at 6:15, I arranged to be taken back to the airport at 6 hours. No fruit or fruit juice or decide if anything to eat was in my room.
Highly recommended, will book there every time now.

Lodge has a wonderful feeling of 'belonging'. I will definitely recommend. Accommodated us earlier when requested. Asked for bath unit and got that. Food was deliciously prepared. Safe parking. Close to EG Janssen high school and Eastrand mall Boksburg. Five stars!

Can't complain, nothing wrong with the place, no one in my face guarding me all the time, it was just right.
We were kindly welcomed and accompanied to our room. Very good setting with small microwave, kettle and cutlery needed for short stay. Winter sheets were a pleasant surprise. Clean and tidy with beautiful gardens.
The staff are very friendly and willing to go the extra mile but the management is not good. I definitely did not enjoy the breakfast. The entrance gate surfaced to allow easy entrance and getting out.
