The accommodation was good, could do with new bedding.
We really enjoyed our stay. The view is spectacular. Just a few minor things. The balcony light wasn't working. I called the agent who gave me a day that someone would look at it, but no one came, so our braaing was restricted to daytime only. The place has a dishwasher; it would have been nice if there were complimentary dishwasher tabs. I also had to purchase a wash-up cloth as one was not provided. Please indicate on the welcome note where to find the balcony lounge pillows, so no one has to search for them. There is no WiFi in the apartment, so come with sufficient data for your stay. The resort facilities are amazing; keep in mind that the putt-putt and games activities reception closes around 5pm. A R50 refundable cash deposit is needed to hire tennis, pool table, or putt-putt equipment. R5 coins are needed to play pool or the foosball table.
No proper braai facilities, only a Weber and no WiFi in unit.
On the day of arrival we received a message from the website that we had not paid for our stay. This however was paid at the end of Nov to the owner as instructed by e-mail. Is there no contact between the agent and the owner? We arrived to find out that we had been given the wrong code to the key safe. After contacting the owner for the code we found no key in the key safe. Owner contacted the agent and we had to wait 30 minutes outside the front door on a tiny landing with black bags containing the rubbish by the previous occupant. The bedroom facing the road is so tiny, that one cannot open the cupboard without moving the bed. People passing on the road can look straight into this bedroom. The window blind of that bedroom as well as the one in the kitchen are broken and cannot be closed. Net result we could never open the curtains! The lining of the curtain in the lounge is badly torn. One of the chairs on the balcony is broken. In one of the bedroom cupboards I found an unappetisingly dirty vacuum cleaner.
Well equipped, well maintained unit. Warm homely atmosphere. Amenities were accessible and view was breathtaking with a neat, clean environment. Would definitely recommend it.
All arrangements were correct and on time. Request for repair was completed by owner within 1 day. Can see sea but have to drive to beaches. Quiet complex. Apartment is spacious and three rooms offer sufficient living space. On arrival the unit bathrooms could have been cleaner.
