Catalina Cottage exceeded our wildest expectations! There is everything one needs. Ian is a great host!
Ian was an amazing host, he made us feel comfortable upon meeting him. The house was beautiful and the area is nice and quiet for a calm break away. My son felt so comfortable with Ian on the day of departure that he ran to him to give him a hug.
Our stay was absolutely faultless. We loved the tranquil setting, the serene garden, the sunny braai room, the spacious living area, the well-equipped kitchen and bathrooms, and the fresh, clean linen. All of these details made our stay as a group of six friends incredibly pleasant and enjoyable.
The accommodation was very nice and very comfortable. It had everything you could possibly need.

Your cottage home is ideal for a slow and relaxed stay in Langebaan, away from the buzz one will usually find near the touristy areas. We all slept in and dragged our feet when it was time to pack up on Sunday for check out. Thank you also for the manner you treated us when we checked out a few minutes later than agreed on. I am looking forward to another stay, and it will be with my mother and siblings as I know they too will enjoy the peace and quiet at the cottage. Thank you for the hospitality.
Our stay was awesome! Since we stepped foot onto the property we loved it! Ian was super friendly when he met with us, the house was spotless, the location was perfect for going to the shop and the beach, it was quiet, and the little details really made a difference. It felt like a home away from home.

Everything you need is at hand. Delicious sun terrace where you can just relax and grill meat. Unfortunately, it's not walking distance from the sea; and there is no sea view. We were delightfully spoiled with extras such as chocolate and wine. Boys really enjoyed the table tennis.
Our stay at the Cottage was great! Judy was very friendly and made us as comfortable as possible, her house is very homey and made us feel very comfy. The garden was so beautiful with lots of mini tortoises walking around. The beds were very comfy and the house was fully equipped with everything we needed. Bonus part is that there was table tennis so it made family activities even more fun! I would definitely go back and recommend it to any family member or friend planning on going to Langebaan.
The owner was very accommodating and friendly. We had a blast. You literally just have to bring yourself, your clothes, food and beverages. The fire place was even stocked with wood. The garden is beautiful to sit in and relax. Everything felt so homey about this Cottage.

This rental property far exceeded the expectations of our two married couples, who are indeed senior citizens. With use of all electrical appliances, neat laundry lines, double beds and TV to watch the Bulls' defeat against the WP with a little meat on the coals!

Dié gebaar en die gerieflike huis het verseker dat ons kuiertjie in Langebaan onvergeetlik is. Die beddens het almal elektriese komberse wat ons lekker warm gehou het op yskoue wintersnagte. Ek sal definitief weer hier kom bly. Die kothuis het absoluut alles wat ons nodig gehad het en ons sou vir nog 'n week kon bly! Dankie!
Even though the cottage is in the back yard of the main home, it didn't feel like it. The friendly reception and greeting was surely something we appreciated. Rested well and had a good time.
Catalina Cottage was one of our best holidays ever. Everything was perfect. We were treated to a bottle of wine and a chocolate nougat when we arrived and even biscuits and cheese, delicious coffee, to the en. The house is well-equipped and they have everything you need so you can just relax and enjoy your holiday. The indoor braai with the sliding doors walks out into a beautiful garde, it was wonderful. I recommend that people are advised before booking that the property is shared.Catalina Cottage is situated behind a main house and the garden/backyard area is shared with the occupants of the house. It was not a problem for us, but I would have preferred that this was made clear before we made the booking as some people may not be comfortable with such an arrangement.
