The apartment can accommodate 2 guests and contains a queen-size bed and an open-plan shower en suite with a washbasin, and an enclosed toilet. The room has a small table and chairs, and a kitchenette that is equipped with a bar fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, and a prep sink, crockery, and cutlery. Parking is available alongside the barn. The barn apartment has a southern-facing window overlooking the Cederberg Reserve and an eastern-facing window overlooking farm property.
Guests will have access through the farmhouse garden to a swimming pool as well as a poolside Lapa which has a view of the farm dam. The Lapa and pool are 100 steps away from your barn apartment. It has a built-in fireplace for the essential braai. The Lapa is equipped with a larger combination fridge-freezer, a camping gas stove and all the essentials crockery and cutlery you would need.
The Cederberg Bunkhouse is 25 km from Clanwilliam town on the R364, and is surrounded by wine and olive estate farms. There is also a cafe just 10 km down the road.
It is extremely safe as there are cameras and sensor lights on the property.

The Bunkhouse is wonderfully located. It offers the most beautiful picture at sunrise. It's a nice drive out of Clanwilliam and has attractions, a restaurant, a wine tasting room and coffee shop, all within 10 km. The accommodation is neat and very clean. Sharon and Tony are very accommodating and ready to help with options for the day's activities. We would love to come again.

This is the best destination if you are looking for alone time and time away from everyone and everything and just to be in nature! Note: Perhaps some ventilation or Air-con in the room, as the room gets very hot.
Cederberg Bunkhouse was everything and more than we expected. The owners' hospitality, friendliness and helpfulness are excellent. The scenery is breathtaking and it was wonderful to breathe in the clean mountain air. The living facility is beautiful and has everything needed to make your stay comfortable. I recommend Cederberg Bunkhouse to anyone looking for overnight accommodation in the area. The cost is also very reasonable.
The Bunkhouse brings guests within reach of interesting activities and unique natural scenes. A wonderful visit around the pool with the well-equipped lapa makes the long Cape evenings all too short. We would love to stay there again!

Tony and Sharon went out of their way to make us feel welcome and cater to our every need.
My wife and I were able to get a reservation at the Bunkhouse at short notice and how lucky we were. The house is idyllic, and white decor fits perfectly with the dark stone walls, which contributes to the cozy feeling of the house and which really makes you feel as if you are sleeping in the mountains. Tony and Sharon go out of their way to make you feel at home. We took bikes with us on holiday and they were safely locked in storage for us. Tony was able to give a lot of advice on walking routes and where to go cycling. We would recommend Bunkhouse to anyone looking to escape city life and spend some time in nature.

A unique experience to spend the night in this cuddly, neat and well-furnished place. There was everything we needed and everything was spotless.
A small wall heater will help a lot. The feather duvet saved our life. The Bunkhouse is really very well located. Shiny clean. Excellent value for money.
A lovely room for an overnight stay en route to the Cederberg or Karoo. The hosts are very welcoming and accommodating.
It was just what we needed to relax a bit and enjoy each other. Quiet barbecue next to the pool in a peaceful and friendly atmosphere.

Accommodation of a no nonsense, self-catering, rustic environment on a rooibos farm at the bottom of the Pakhuis Pass. It can get very cold in winter and very hot in summer. Tony and Sharon have made adequate provision for all seasons (a braai-room and pool are free to use) and are friendly hosts while being discrete.
Ideal for quick sleepovers for driving around the area.
It is situated within easy distance from Clanwilliam and has a farm like feel with magnificent views of Cederberg mountains. We only stayed one night and in hindsight we should have stayed longer to appreciate the beautiful farm and surrounding areas.
It was an exciting weekend out for a couple to enjoy quiet moments in each other's company. It feels like a hide out that is well deserved.
The accommodation was very neat and clean. A very nice braai place is available, just a shame that it is a bit far from the accommodation. Nevertheless, we had a great time staying there.
The use of a spacious and well-equipped lapa is an advantage, but it is quite far from the room, and therefore inconvenient to use.
