The Hotel in Riversdale is a definite must visit. It is nicely decorated and the old fashioned wood and furniture are beautiful. Good to see cleanliness and former glory being preserved. Appreciate the good service and caring staff. Especially the special parking for our motorbikes! Had a great time here and will visit again. Food was definitely a highlight.

Housekeeping not good. Our wet towels were hung on one hook over one another so we had cold, wet towels when we came back at night. Also no rechargeable lights anywhere during loadshedding.
Family atmosphere. Would definitely recommend it.
The TV did not work. There was no fridge and minimal kitchen facilities in the room.
Didn't feel particularly welcome. Aunty in charge clearly more concerned about cutting costs than pleasing clients. No WiFi.
On arrival, no coffee or milk in the room, no hand towel, no rubbish bin, noisy tenants and a very noisy street, no emergency lighting for loadshedding, and WiFi was not available in rooms was supposedly problematic.
Beautiful, hospitable, friendly and the breakfast was delicious and more than enough.

The first day's breakfast was delicious, but the second time was not at all up to standard like the previous breakfast, the lady who made the breakfast told us she was unfortunately alone and we still paid for the breakfast.

The hotel is beautifully restored and full of cremation elements. Around every corner is something interesting. The food is also delicious. Lovely beds to sleep on.
My husband and son have to stay in Riversdal for the Oakdale/Boland Agricultural weekend and I chose the accommodation for them for a little treat. It was never mentioned that breakfast would cost extra. When I originally inquired about it, it was only indicated that guests are informed of the times upon arrival. The price per night was excessively high for the amenities when you consider that there were not even DStv channels available. If I had realized ahead of time what a disappointment the accommodation would be, they would much rather have driven the extra few kilometers from Witsand for much better accommodation at much better rates and facilities. What a disappointment!

We were warmly welcomed by Jakkie. The rooms are very neat and the service was great. It is truly a beautiful building. Jakkie did an excellent job and made us feel so at home. She was extremely helpful. We will definitely stay there again if the opportunity arises.
The restaurant inside the hotel is particularly comfortable and their food is delicious.

We really enjoyed it and you can tell the hotel has been renovated and we love the wooden floors and accessories! Everyone was friendly and helpful! Food was very good and we would recommend it to anyone!

I can without a doubt recommend the Boutique Hotel for their great service, value for money, well equipped and very friendly staff. This Hotel is definitely an asset to Riversdale's tourism and is centrally located. I would stay there again anytime.
Jakkie is one of the kindest, most hospitable people I have ever met. From the time we walked in on Saturday afternoon until we drove off on Sunday morning, it was absolutely fantastic. Would recommend anyone to visit there. Beautiful restaurant, bar with TV for rugby. What more could one want!
