5 guests' feedbackVery nice, peaceful stay. The only downside is if you sit on the stoep you can't look over the sea. Garden blocks it slightly but otherwise the accommodation was perfect for a break from the city.
Very peaceful holiday. Exactly what we wanted.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here as a family (Grandpa, Grandma and family of four). Just being able to walk out the back gate directly onto the beach was wonderful. The cottage has plenty of space for six, the children slept well on the fold-out couch. The balcony was a lovely bonus for drinking morning coffee with the best view of the sea and of course for beautiful sunsets. The only criticism is that the cottage might just need a little TLC and it wasn't cleaned well before our arrival (dirty fridge, stove for example and general dustiness). Still, one of the nicest places we've ever stayed.

It is a beautiful place and we had such a nice time. We were just disappointed because we specifically asked for a place where 6 adults (3 couples), all over 60, could sleep in comfort and privacy. They confirmed that there were 3 bedrooms. The third bedroom is outside and you access it with stairs outside. So on arrival we had to find out that the outside room wasn't available and according to the rental agency had already been let to someone else for that time slot. One couple had to sleep on a sleeper couch in the unit and had no privacy. There also wasn't enough bedding for the sleeper couch. Despite the discomfort, everything else was very nice and well equipped. But for the entire time we were there, there was no one in the outside room and so we know that the story about it being rented to someone else was not true.

House rules
Pets are allowed by prior arrangements at an extra cost. There is a pet fee of R250 for up to 2 dogs per house. No more than 2 dogs at a time.No check-ins or check-outs are offered on Christmas Day or New Year's Day.
The balance of the booking is to be paid 3 days before arrival.
This unit may only accommodate the number of guests specified on the booking invoice at any given time.
No loud music is allowed after 22:00.
No parties on the property, management reserves the right to evict tenants that do not adhere to this rule.
Kindly note that we do not have the authorisation to do credit card payments on behalf of guests, we only accept EFT or bank transfers.
A key and breakage deposit are payable on arrival. It is refundable within 7-14 working days after the house has been inspected and all found in order.
Keys will not be handed over under any circumstances without full payment being received.
DStv can be activated for an additional cost per day.
