We arrived very late, but the hostess helped us nicely with where we needed to be. Everything was neat and clean and the milk, tea and coffee and biscuits were a real plus when we arrived late at Chardonnay. Thank you very much - would definitely stay there again.

Excellent farm views.
We had a wonderful stay for two weeks. It is a beautiful farm with a good location. We appreciated the help of the friendly restaurant and cleaning staff. At the same time, we used the swimming pool on the warmer days and enjoyed walking around the farm or in Onder-Papegaaiberg. The only negative aspect was that we were without electricity for three days due to An Eskom problem and Eskom incompetence. The cottages have no back-up electricity and we therefore had to get rid of all products that need refrigeration and try to do without.

We had a great stay at Chardonnay Cottage. The tranquility, silence and view were bliss for the soul. The location of the farm is perfect, close enough to the town, but also far enough to ensure a peaceful stay. The place is well equipped with all possible facilities and there is also sufficient provision for load shedding. Poenie's hospitality as well as the dogs and chickens that came to visit from time to time, further ensured that we felt very welcome. We can definitely recommend Chardonnay Cottage and would love to stay there again in the future.
