We enjoyed our stay. The only thing that I wasn't happy with was that someone who also camped there was flying a drone over us. So, no privacy because of the drone.
Relaxing. I would prefer more ablution facilities.
Really a hidden gem, very nice campsite.
Beautiful farm near Knysna, but feels remote. Quiet, beautiful and lots of birds. Owners were always available and concerned about their campers. Jewel on Garden Route.
Had to wait an hour for the grass to be cut before we could set up and scratched our caravan due to lack of maintenance on the access road - not recommended for non 4x4 caravans. No hot water to shower in the morning.
Loved the campsite, and the bonus was we were all alone. Abundant bird life for all the twitchers, campsites are quite spacious.
We spent a wonderful week here. We had the campsite to ourselves and really appreciated the privacy.
I would happily recommend this campground. The customer service is great and efforts were made to accommodate me. I could not reach the main campsite with my car as the river levels had risen a bit due to the good rains. However, I was able to find another stand that my hatchback could reach. Note that one has to drive through a river to reach the main campsite, so a vehicle with reasonable ground clearance is a requirement. I have been told that the river levels are usually much lower.
Even though there is a filter 'pets by arrangement' and the fact that I messaged the farm prior to booking confirmation to double-check I could bring my corgi with me, it was a shock when we arrived at check in. I recommend double-checking, triple-checking prior to booking if the filter is still on.
