14 guests' feedbackI would only recommend a better outdoor barbecue place. The glass of the door to the bathroom with shower may be covered (with "frosting") so that someone cannot look into the bathroom.
It was an excellent retreat. Very tranquil and beautiful gardens with surroundings.
Great stay in Greyton. The cottage is incredibly cozy with lots of areas to hang out together. The back porch area under the trees with a view of the mountain is lovely, and the living room inside is very cozy. The porch in front is also very nice for morning coffee.
What a beautiful place, with the most beautiful garden and clean pool. We really enjoyed the braai area under the beautiful big trees. The cottage is well equipped and we love the decor. The cottage is within walking distance of the main road and Saturday market. Carmen welcomed us kindly and explained everything about the alarm system. I would definitely recommend Charming Cottage!

Really cosy cottage well situated in Greyton.
Great beds! And the fireplace is nice and warm. Parents just need to know that the pool outside is open. But in any case I would not have left my little one outside alone, you just have to keep a close eye.
We were there with 2 children and 3 adults and used both rooms and the day-bed. It rained all weekend, but at least the fireplace kept us warm. The accommodation is stylish and well furnished. There is DSTV, load shedding lamps, enough firewood and a gas stove and braai. There is no WiFi though. The day bed and the overall interior could have been somewhat cleaner.
Front gates to driveway and entrance to front door need to be fixed. Main toilet flush handle broken, and toilet leaks onto floor. Cottage needs to be aired out a bit, had very damp smell on entry. Lots of mosquitos, so maybe fumigate. WiFi will be nice for future.
Excellent location to Nature Reserve. Quiet, peaceful, lovely home. Doesn't have an oven but rather a micro and stove top and braai.
The house is perfect, Everything that you need for a weekend away or even for a few days stay. The only two elements that the place lacked was an oven and Wi-Fi, but I can reassure you that we did not miss these two elements. The beds were very comfortable, the grounds were very well kept and the Pool's water temperature was amazing. The host Carmen was 10/10 for everything.
The Charming rose cottage exceeded our expectations and we had a wonderful time. The bedding and towels are of exceptional quality, the garden is beautiful and the house is the perfect size for a weekend away. We will definitely go again!
