Ann is the definition of a super-host! From the time I booked, everything (check-in instructions, contact information, etc.) was communicated with great clarity. She went to great lengths insuring that our 5-year-old had her own little corner of fun things to do, children books, toys etc. The house was cosy, quiet, very clean and well maintained with all the facilities that one needs. Great location, and the neighbourhood is very quiet. The backyard deserves a mention. It is beautiful with a spectacular view! What made our comfortable stay a memorable one was the hospitality. Ann made an extra effort to help us with our stay. She genuinely cares about your comfort and well-being. I highly recommend Charming Villa and look forward to staying there again!
Charming Villa is well positioned in terms of its location and is central to many activities, as well as being close to the town. The house is well equipped and was absolutely spotless. It is well secured with an alarm system and also in a cul de sac, making it quiet and private. It has a lovely view across a wetland with many birds and then onto vineyards with mountains in the background. Our hostess, Ann was incredible. She was helpful, efficient, friendly and welcoming. She explained everything to us and was ready to answer any questions. She had decorated the house with beautiful fresh proteas and had cookie snacks and tea, coffee, etc. to welcome us. Furthermore, she took the trouble to post items back to us that we had inadvertently left behind. She was interesting to talk to and we felt that she went the extra mile for us. We enjoyed our stay and it would be our first choice should we visit Stellenbosch again. We will also recommend it to all our friends and family who might be needing accommodation there.
