8 guests' feedback1. Check-in was a nightmare. I thought we sent the info in before to get pre-cleared. Took about 50 minutes. 2. House wasn’t clean. Cobwebs and grimy. Salt and pepper shakers are dirty. Had to clean mugs before using them. 3. Wasn’t enough hot water for 5 people. I didn’t have hot water at all. 4. Upstairs bathroom leaked down to the front door. Ceiling damaged. 5. Wi-Fi didn’t work. 6. Not enough seating inside or outside for 5 people (supposed to cater for 6). The location was great but wouldn't stay there again due to the issues with biometrics and the hassle at check-in.
View of the canals would be very valuable.
Very nice stay, neat, clean and safe. Will stay there again.
Some coffee and tea would be nice in the unit.
Everything was as described in the advertisement. We had a great stay!
The house was convenient as it was close to the harbour where the waterpolo tournament was and close to all the lovely restaurants.

The Thesen Island Homeowners Association (TIHOA) has implemented a BUPL (biometric user pay levy). This amounts to an additional fee of R97.00 per guest biometric registration. At least one guest in the group is compelled to register and pay the said levy.
Any additional guest registering and utilizing the biometric system will also carry the levy per guest. Passengers need not register, but the names and ID documents of all group members must be entered in on the group leader’s biometric document. A copy of each adult Guest’s ID/Passport in the family/group to be included.
