53 guests' feedbackCan't believe I'm saying it, but it was the perfect stay. Stayed above the pub and if anything it was very convenient to go down and have a bite and enjoy some local vibes. The noise wasn't a disturbance and the security guard was available and on guard the whole evening. Accommodation had everything we needed for the getaway. Thank you very much, will see you soon.

Apartment 11 at Cherry Grove was amazing. It is modern, pretty, and clean. I will definitely stay here again. It's gorgeous and the bed was so comfortable.
All I can and want to comment on - maybe also for older people - the shower floor is soapy. A mat of some kind (rubber perhaps) will work well and increase safety.

We stayed in number 8 for two nights. The unit is very cozy with a fireplace for the cold winter evenings. The kitchen is fully equipped, except that scissors and a drying cloth are missing. The baths and showers are lovely, and the water was always deliciously hot, although the sink pipes were clogged. The whole place is stylishly furnished and creates a feeling of warmth. The Piazza is beautiful, especially early in the morning when everything is quiet. There was even a large red-banded sugar becky that came to visit us on the stoepie one morning. However, there is a bar (that sells delicious pizzas) right next to the Piazza that plays loud music from 18:00 to 00:00, with people hanging out and making noise until the early hours of the morning. The Piazza is also next to the main road, so trucks pass by all day. If you are looking for a peaceful getaway away from the city noise and crave the silence of nature, this may not be the place for you. But if that's not going to bother you, I definitely recommend Cherry Grove.
Very clean and neat unit. All appliances work. The only problem is the wifi and maybe DStv.
Would just add more blankets and electric blankets, maybe also optional, it was cold there in June.
Perfect for an overnight stay while traveling. It will work well for families who want to spend a weekend in Dullstroom and surroundings.

Cherry Grove is ideal for a quick getaway in Dullstroom. The accommodation is on the busy main street and close to all shops and restaurants. The place is very modern and tidy with a nice big porch. We enjoyed it a lot just remember your own wood for the fireplace.
We had a wonderful stay in the unit, very clean, tidy with everything you need for a quick getaway, all of excellent quality. In love with the Italian vibe, feel like you are in another country! The parking was so-so, although it is behind a gate, we felt it was not used properly and was parked once or twice. The only negative we encountered is the loud music (until very late) from the Duck and Trout hangout.
We were also not completely convinced of the safety of our vehicle in the evenings. There is parking behind the apartments, but there didn't seem to be any security checking our vehicle (we couldn't park there the first night either because it was full). Furthermore, we had a very nice stay.
The backside parking is really small if you drive a larger vehicle. Please note the apartment is next to a bar and the noise can go on till late.
Unfortunately, a cold shower after a long day puts you off a lot. First 2 persons shower hot and third cold. The feedback would have been 4/5 if not for that.
Beautiful newly renovated unit, with a nice balcony. Unfortunately, the location is situated above a pub restaurant. The music was way too loud. Especially considering that it continued past 12 pm, both nights we stayed. For this reason, I would never book this accommodation again. Unfortunately that there was no Wi-Fi and provided firewood would have been nice. Note: our unit changed from 8 to unit 11.
Well appointed and neat room. Location not good. Next to a pub with excessive noise until morning hours. The parking area gate was out of order for the duration of our stay. WiFi is not available, so no TV service.
Had to wait 2 hours after booking in time for owner to answer the call and get the keys to get into the unit after numerous calls to her, messages to her as well as also trying to get ahold of the owner or letting agent? The pub underneath the units had extremely loud music up to the early moring hours and we couldn't sleep due to that. No generator for power during loadshedding. No wifi and no use of the TV if you do not have your own data loaded to watch on it. No general basic TV channels nor DSTV channels without your own login. Drunk people linger in and around the building. Beggars and salespeople hassling you in and all around the building. Very large tree in front on the patio which is the only place where you can get a little bit of sunlight, especially being so cold now. Place feels very empty and run-down. Gives a feeling of no longer being as safe as it used to be.
The room was exceptionally clean. The hostess was not available and did not provide self check-in details in time for check-in. The room is situated right next to a pub which played music at an excessive volume until midnight, with drunk folks then shouting in the quad below. The lightbulb above the bath in the main bedroom was falling out of the fitting, and when I notified the hostess, an ambiguous "I'll get it fixed, thank you" was the response. No hand soap or air freshener is provided. A lot of the cupboards creak. The fridge is uneven on its feet. No WiFi is available. The water pressure in the baths, in particular, is poor. I was notified of a secure parking area with a remote-controlled gate, but when I went to the parking, I found the gate open, to which the response when asked was, "it is broken."
Cherry Grove is a very cute cottage to stay in for the holidays. With one's own kitchen and veranda, it is ideal for just relaxing. The room is nice and spacious with a lounge, bath and shower. The cupboard space is an extra bonus as you always pack more during holiday. The pizza restaurant below the apartment makes food options even more delicious. The cottage is modernly furnished and even has a TV that one can use.
The unit is very neat. It looks newly redone. Both bathrooms are nice and big and complete. The rooms are spacious. The beds were very comfortable.

Getting key and access is easy. Parking was a big problem especially when there are larger vehicles like SUVs and vans. Spare bathroom lights did not work and the hand basin was clogged. Furthermore, the location and lovely cozy porch and apartment are very well equipped. Fantastic that each bedroom has its own bathroom. Very private and walking distance to all shops.

The apartment was tidy with a "welcome feeling". It is modern yet with a "warm" feel. The outline is really exceptional. The bed is comfortable and the bedding is good quality and clean. Unfortunately, the TV cannot be used without your personal WiFi. May not have a Smart TV if there is no WiFi.

Cherry Grove is located right above a bar and the music was unbearable and there was no warning about it. The hot water took forever to warm up. No WiFi and the TV had no working channel.
The reality and the advertising promise usually differ to a large extent. Cherry Grove is an exception in this regard.

Our stay at Cherry Grove was so lovely, the apartment was so gorgeous. Due to all the construction it did become disturbing during the early part of the morning and was quite noisy at night due to the pub next door but I would still go to Cherry Grove again once the renovations and buildings have been completed. I plan on taking my whole family for a stay. Love it.
The place creates the atmosphere that makes you feel like you are somewhere in Italy. Very tasteful decor and well furnished with everything one needs. We wish we could stay longer!
The music of Duck and Trout gives a nice atmosphere in the evening and breaks the silence.
