1 guests' feedbackMy worst experience. I telephoned the website to make sure it was a ground floor experience. I explained my brother had long covid and has considerable lung scar tissue so he cannot handle stairs. They assured me it was. It was ground floor all right. 24 stairs to the ground floor. It was more like a basement. The bottled water in the chalet was not sterile and a bit brown. No candles or matches in the chalet to address the first evening of loadshedding. No rechargeable lights in the place. The extractor fan in the bathrooms were not working. No windows in the bathrooms so you can imagine the prolonged smell. The beds and sofa's have known better days. I did call Van Heerden letting the first evening we arrived there. Spoke to Thinus. He was no help at all. I never called again. 9 days of navigating those stairs was no fun. The pictures were not a true reflection of the location.
