It was very lovely indeed.
Affordable value for money and good service.
Was only informed on arrival of leaking ceiling. Kitchen faucet not working. Exterior lights and living room light not working. DVD player not working. Furniture is outdated.
The place is fantastic, we had such a great time, we feel human again, thank you.
Chesapeake Bay 49 was more than perfect for us as a family, the place is all we need for a nice, peaceful holiday. Very nice inside and out and completely safe. Sea view was the best. Countless friendly owners and caretaker.
We simply loved the hospitality of James the care taker, to the cleaning staff and gardeners. Always greeted us. The place was spotless and fantastic. The view of the beach was amazing and we where right by the beach. The swimming pool was clean and easy to access in the complex we where close all shops and definitely safe. We didn't have to stress. We will definitely be coming back.
Our expectations were exceeded. Not only did we get value for money, but the view was beautiful and the unit was very tidy. What a wonderful holiday. Thanks for all the arrangements. Your customer service is excellent and extremely professional. Wish we could stay longer.
I would also remove the tub and replace it with a good shower. There is water leaking from the upstairs apartment, the people upstairs have to seal their porch floor.
The only thing I would change is the shower, it makes it uncomfortable because the floor is wet all the time and kids can't bathe by the sea because they are going to bathe in their own sand. But it's a great place and Klaa has made a decision to go back every year.
Only problem was a leaking roof and kitchen could be better equipped.
We had a great stay, the sea view is fantastic. Will definitely book again.
So a few little things that we noticed. There was no washcloth or dishtowel to clean and dry only the necessary places. The DVD player was not in working order. We had rain and would like to see something. WiFi was not available.
From inception (booking) to departure the personnel dealing with us were professional and helpful.
The area is no longer a wonderland. Very run down, dirty and unfortunately will not choose the same area again in the future.
We will definitely go again.
We will definitely stay at Chesapeake Bay 49 again!
