Not my first visit to Chetnole. I really enjoyed my stay at Chetnole Cottage. Very luxurious yet affordable! My hosts were super awesome caring people with very warm hearts (Gwen went the extra mile and took me to some local churches in town for me to take some photos).
Very nice stay, place very nice, clean and well furnished. Everything needed is available. Nice garden, clean braai facilities and pretty accessible for any pet. Thanks to the host.

Very beautiful, neat and the perfect hosts. Recommended hiking and biking trails. Electric sheets for those cold Highveld winters. Solar - no load shedding!

Our time at Chetnole Cottage was wonderful. Rupert and Gwynne make sure that you can quietly enjoy the surroundings and have a very nice stay, everything you need is provided without asking. The cottage was spotless with a fireplace and nice braai area. Wakkerstroom can get bitterly cold, but if you stay at Chetnole, you won't get cold. I would highly recommend the place to anyone.
Quiet town and area. Very comfortable accommodation. The area and town is quiet and was definitely a plus. The hosts are very considerate and friendly.
We will definitely book there again when in the area. The hosts' friendliness was immediately noticeable. We felt right at home. Everything we needed and more was there. For city dwellers with a rural background, it was "home far from home".
